One thing I never expected was for Junia to take the documents from me without going through a back-and-forth agreement with me concerning why she didn't need my help.

To my surprise, she accepted it like I had wanted but at the same time, I couldn’t help but think that there was something that was bothering her.

The annoying thing was that no matter how much I asked her, she never opened up to me, and trying to know what exactly was going on in her mind was something that I found to be tedious.

I untied my robe, handing it over to the maid who lowered her head in reverence for me before she scuttled away. I took a glass of wine from the other staff while taking a sip of it before handing it back to her.

Slowly, I submerged myself into the pool, the warm water enveloped me as I dipped my head inside.

I swam towards the maid who stood by the side of the pool as she handed me the glass of wine. Taking a sip of the wine, I asked. “Has she come out of her room yet?”
