Ethan’s P.O. V

Not only was I surprised but I was equally taken aback when Junia walked through the doors of my office and obviously, with a frown on her face!

The way she strutted in and the way her hips swayed by her side, caused my jaw to drop. I stood to my feet with my mouth agape and at that very moment, I was awash with regrets.

I hated everything that I had put her through and it made me wish that I could turn back the hands of time and set things right.

“You are here…..” My voice was barely above a whisper.

However, the hoarseness laced in her voice snapped me out of reverie and that was when I deciphered that she wasn’t here for peace.

“Of course, I am here” She sat on the chair across from me, crossing her legs.

With a bright smile that slipped through my face, I couldn’t hide my joy, and the very fact that she was sitting right before me fulfilled me in ways that I would never be able to imagine.
