I gnawed on my fingers at the same time, glancing at my phone that was next to me as I stared at Briella's picture that appeared on my phone's screen.

There was something weird about her. I didn't want to admit it but it seemed more like she was now a different person and something about her caused fear to gnaw at me.

"Should I tell her about Ethan's offer?" I muttered to myself.

"No, she wouldn't accept that" I ended up hissing before running my hands through my hair frustratedly.

Maybe I was just overthinking things regarding Briella. It was normal for people to change but Briella's change felt so sudden that I could feel the hairs on my body stand to the very end.

Something was wrong somewhere and I knew it even though I couldn't place what exactly was wrong.

I took in a deep breath, trying to calm the rate at which my heart juddered in my chest. "I should visit her. I should clear my suspicion about her by checking up on her"
