Ethan’s P.O.V

“Aaron has been found” The text on my phone read while I soon tossed it by my side when the door opened again and for a moment, I was ready to hurl the vase at whoever was at that door because I had thought that it was Nicholas.

But when she stepped inside, my lips parted slowly as she stalked in looking tired and bedraggled.

Her lashes swept up as her gaze met mine and in that moment, confusion swept my mind. The look in her eyes was inscrutable and a faltering smile formed on her face.

“Junia” I called, getting up from the bed.

I heard as she heaved a sigh before taking in a deep long breath. “Michaela…..” Her words trailed before a scoff left her lips.

Just the mention of Michaela’s name caused the anger that had ebbed away, to surge inside of me again. My jaws clenched while I gripped her by the shoulders gently even though my grip around her was firm.
