Battle Of Wills

Jeremy pov:

Steve's parents had gone out, leaving him and me alone in the house. We were trying to watch TV, but the tension between us was palpable. Suddenly, Steve broke the silence.

“Fuck it, I can't anymore," he said.

Before I knew it, he had lifted me up in his arms, and I was left stunned.

"What are you doing?" I asked him, my heart racing.

"Doing something I have been trying to resist since morning," he said with a mischievous smile.

As I leaned in and put my arms around his neck, I could feel my cheeks turning a deep shade of pink. His strong arms were holding me close to his chest.

I couldn't help but giggle as he carried me up the stairs, my feet dangling above the ground like a child's.

"Steve, put me down, I can walk," I said, half-protesting, half-laughing.

But he seemed to be enjoying the moment too much to listen to my words. Instead, he held me tighter and kept walking up the stairs, step by step, with me in his arms.
