I lazily opened my eyes on hearing a faint knock on the door, I groaned as it was heard again louder this time, My eyes snapped open as soon as reality dawned, I rose up in panic dragging the blanket over my naked chest. 

Holy shit, I had sex with Javi's brother.

I turned around to a sinful view of a sleepy Ace, probably waking up due to the constant knock on the door.

Fuck! Someone's at the door.

I'm screwed, I sat up ignoring the soreness in between my thighs and the bright light penetrating the curtains.

"What's going on?" It's frustrating that I find his voice sexy even in this situation I'm in.

"Someone's at the door," I whispered.

"What?" His once-sleepy features disappeared. The knock was heard again causing my heart to race, I looked around for my clothes.

"I'll take care of it." My eyes stuck on him as he confidently moved out of bed naked, giving me a good view of his perfectly sculpted ass as he picks up his underwear from the floor.

I turned away once he had his underwear on, hoping he didn't realize I was checking him out. He proceeded to retrieve his shirt and jeans.

He winked at me before walking towards the door.

He defiantly knew I was staring.

He opened the door a little skilfully squeezing himself through, slamming the door behind him.

I stood up immediately using the opportunity to search for my clothes, I put my feet on the cold tiled floor.

I wrapped the white blanket over my naked body tighter as I stood up getting accustomed to the cold floor. I looked around for my underwear mentally cursing my inability to close my fucking legs, I just had to sleep with Ace?.

I breathed out in relief spotting my knitted dress on the floor near the door.

I ridiculously pushed the heavy blanket along to retrieve the dress, I spotted a mirror nearby, I cringed looking at my scattered hair and the messed up makeup on my face, I turned around a little gasping when I spotted hickeys on my neck.

The fuck!! How am I suppose to cover this?.

I looked over my shoulders only to see finger marks.

You got to be shitting me!

I breathed out in frustration as I left my hideous image and made an attempt to get my dress only to stop hearing the conversion between Ace and the unknown person.

Oh! It's Thomas, Ace, and Javi's dad.

"I want you at the wedding ceremony have I made myself clear." Thomas's stern voice was heard.

Holy Shit! Today's my wedding.

I rushed back with my dress in my hand when I heard Ace coming in.

We both locked eyes for a moment, he cleared his throat as I looked at something else other than staring at him like a creep.

Okay! That was awkward.

Now where the fuck is my underwear, my eyes scanned the room once again, I spotted my bra.

"Are you looking for this?" I was snapped out of my thoughts on hearing his husky voice, my eyes widened in embarrassment when I spotted my panties dangling in between his fingers.

"Give me that." I dragged it out of his hands feigning anger, the embarrassment I'm feeling won't give room for anger.

My cheeks red as I made my way to the bathroom picking up my bra in the process only to mistakenly step on the blanket causing me to fall on my butt.

Kill me now.

I cursed out as I heard him laugh, I stood up in apparent shame, walking towards the bathroom as fast as I could.

I got out of the bathroom after minutes of prepping my self for the walk of shame, I mean what else could go wrong now? I have disgraced my self in the worst possible way already.

I got out mentally thanking my stars that he's facing the window.

Loren quick, this is your chance to bolt.

I tiptoed in the most silent way I could, breathing out in relief as I got to the door unnoticed.

"Gonna leave without saying goodbye?" I cussed out turning to his direction.

"Look Ace..." He rudely interrupted.

"What happened last night was a mistake, you seem to say that "mistake" word a lot." He smiled, the light that's shining directly on his features makes him look irresistible.

I attempted to say something but I stopped.

"I got to go. Can we please keep this between us?" I finally got the courage to speak out.

"My lips are sealed." He winked, I rushed out before I could make another sinful decision.

"Where the fuck was you? I looked all over the place." Gem exclaimed, I on the other hand thankful that I got into my hotel room without being noticed.

"The make-up artist, photographers, and designer has been waiting for over an hour now, did you forget that today's your wedding?" Please don't remind me.

"And why does your hair look like this?" My best friend kept on ranting.

"O MY, is that hickeys?" My eyes widened paying attention now.

She stood up as I adjusted the arm of my knitted dress.

"Why do you look like you just had sex?" Why do I have a nosy best friend?

I turned around hiding my face knowing full well I'll be caught through my facial expressions.

"What are you talking about?" I lied.

"Oh please, you have the sex hair, hickeys, marks on your shoulders." She's now standing in front of me.

"You and Javi had sex? You guys just couldn't wait for tonight." She gave a disappointed expression while shaking her head.

I bit my lips not knowing how to tell her, she raises her eyebrows up in confusion probably noticing I haven't said a word.

"I slept with Ace, Javier's brother." I put my head on my palms in embarrassment.

"No, you didn't." I heard her say I nodded refusing to let my head up knowing full well she's going to be disappointed in me.

"Tell me you are joking, Loren?" I finally summoned the courage to look up.

"Loren!" She exclaimed I walked towards the bed sitting on it.

"I know, I fucking screwed up." Tears attempting to make its way, I looked up trying to prevent the shameful tears.

I felt my best friend sit near me as I put my head on her shoulders.

"What are you going to do now?"

"I don't know, cancel the wedding?" I can't do this to Javier, he's been so nice to me.

He doesn't deserve this.

"What are you girls doing? The wedding is starting." I cleaned my tears on hearing my mum's voice, I shifted my head from Gemma's shoulders looking at my beautiful mum, already dressed.

"Are you crying?" Worry lacing her facial features.

"No mum, I'm just emotional. I'm getting married today, yay!" I lied letting the best fake smile creep its way through my dry lips.

"Aww baby, look at me." She placed her palms on my cheeks.

"I'm proud of you baby, it feels like yesterday when we had nothing, now you are a medical doctor getting married to the best man any girl could ask for." She meant getting married to a billionaire, I smiled.

She's proud of me.

I have waited so long to hear those words.

"Thanks, mum." I enveloped her with my wide arms.

"Now fix yourself up, you look crap." She releases herself from my hug.

Now she's back.

"You too, Gemma." She says walking away shutting the door behind her.

"Now, I'm indecisive, I don't want to let her down." I'm literarily marrying Javi because of my mum.

"Look think about like this, you were sexually frustrated and Ace was there, now you have gotten it out of your system." I nodded, hoping it works like that. I might not even see him after this wedding.

"You are right?" I said I have gotten it out of my system I internally chanted to myself.

"Now let's get ready for that wedding." I smiled.

I walked down the hallway getting bored of sitting waiting for the stupid wedding to start.

"Hey, handsome." A familiar face appeared, smiling seductively at me.

Well, I don't care. I made an attempt to walk out only for this lady to drag me back using the tie I so despise right now.

"You don't remember me?" Okay! this babe is too close for comfort, giving me a good view of her perfectly caked face, she looks like she'll be better off without so much makeup on, she got a perfect body tho, she's probably a model.

"From the wedding rehearsal." Once the words rolled out of her mouth, I connected the dots. Oh! She's the one that helped relieve my sexual frustration when Loren left me hard asf.

"Calm down! She's just running a little late." I entered into a scattered room, moving aside to avoid stepping on the glass broken by my brother.

"I would not have it, I looked like a fool waiting on the aisle." He yelled I recognized that face, that angry face, it's triggering memories that are fighting to be let out, I closed my eyes.

"She's at the venue." My mum's voice was heard, I let my eyes open, the once angry features on Javi's face was gone as excited as my mum, we both locked eyes before he left.

"You said he was better." I glared at my dad. I can't believe they'd let him get into another marriage when he clearly has problems.

"He is, he takes his meds regularly." My dad whispered.

Bullshit!

"Then what was that." I can't fucking believe this.

"He loves her." I scoffed, oh! Please didn't he meet her like a month ago?

"That's what he said about Louisa, Dad and now she's dead," I said through my gritted teeth.

This is unbelievable!.

I walked out in anger hoping that Loren knows what she's getting herself into.

Now, I need a fucking drink!
