Alex's POV

Since I came back to the Shadow Pack, I didn't resume my old work in the pack. I never thought I would stay this long. I did not want to settle in this pack. I don't know what I was thinking of coming back here. I just had in mind to check if Alexis had been mated to someone else but the whole situation is not messed up.

I had thought of what to do now that I was around. I tried to meet up and train with the other pack members. All I have in my mind now is to find ways of getting Alexis out of Alpha Kane's pack and leave this damn pack as well. I won't allow my parents to drag me into whatever plot they are cooking up.

The sun was intense. I was meeting some pack members to train. The pack was still a little tense, even though the lockdown would soon be lifted.
