2021-06-30 17:56:24Gemma woke up feeling relaxed and happy. She looked at her phone and there was a message from Grant, and Nicky… Grant said the usual sweet good night and hoped she will dream of him, how cheesy, Gemma thought to herself and smiled.
Nicky left a few messages. Gemma read through them carefully and she immediately phoned her best friend.
“Nicky, are you ok??” Gemma felt concerned and needed to hear her voice.
“Hi Gemma, I am ok. I have had a rough weekend; it did not turn out at all how I hoped. And to top it all off, James left me!” Nicky started sobbing loudly into the phone.
“Oh Nicky! I am so sorry!! What happened? Sorry that I did not answer last night, you know I put my phone on night mode when I go to bed.” Gemma sat up in bed and pulled the cover over her lap.
“That crazy guy from my past found out where I lived Gemma! The one that send me all those f******k invites. He just came to my apartment this weekend! Told James a ton of nonsence!

The next morning Gemma woke up, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. She felt she could take on the world with Grant by her side and she felt content. The flight went by very quickly as Gemma and Grant spoke almost non-stop. It was amazing how comfortable she felt with him, and it was as if they had known each other for years.
