UNWANTED EMOTIONS

Iris' POV

"I want us to merge our packs," I declared abruptly, dismissing the previous conversation and the tension that lingered between us. The last thing I wanted to do was engage in a petty squabble over another woman, especially when our packs' future was highly at stake.

This marriage was supposed to be a straightforward contract, not some silly complicated web of emotions. Yet, I couldn't deny the spark of possessiveness that I felt within me. Like he was mine already.
