CHAPTER 2

The next morning. We went to his Doctor for his Check Up, When Lyndon go to CR.

Dr. Benitez asked me. How long will you be like that when he, kills you?

“Free yourself too” Dr. Benitez said.

You are not bound to him forever. And that’s when I realized everything.

 I left him without saying Goodbye.

No calls and no chat.  That’s when I turned off my phone, so he can’t contact me.

I want to start over as a new me, so I went to the province to My Aunt’s Ancestral House.

I wasn’t really disappointed, Because the first time I set foot in Aunt Eli’s house was my cousin Mae’s

face.

She screamed like there’s no tomorrow, “ Cousin I miss you so much” Thank You for visiting us.

I have many stories to tell you she said.

 My god I’m so excited you are in the right time because it’s our Barangay’s Fiesta. And has a lot of activities and games. And I’ll take you with me so you won’t get bored.

So rest first and I’ll call you later if we were already eating. “chow cousin beauty rest ok? Mae said.

And that night I was very happy, I temporarily forgot what happened to me in the City.

Until one day I saw a tall and a handsome man who was naked, and not wearing any shirt that caught my attention. I can see his six pack abs and his body is dripping wet, I can’t take my eyes on him. “ So delicious “ I told to myself”.

 I was like a fool staring at him. I didn’t realize that Mae was by my side.

 He is single and ready to mingle “ she said”.

That’s when Greg notice us that we were watching him.

So I quickly left,

Not even a word came out from my mouth, I’m so speechless and my face is so red that time. I can’t imagine.

 I was really stunned by how handsome he was, even though he was dark skinned,

What happened to me? “I ask myself’ did I do that? I’m staring at him, “My god!  I’m so ashamed of myself there are so many Boy’s out there”. And I’m drooling to that man.

 That was the first time I do that. I feel like I am hypnotized by a person. Is he a vampire?

The next morning “Mae introduced me to her boyfriend. His name is Nathan”

 Nathan is tall, and handsome’ and white skin complexion. So they are a perfect for, as if they were destined to each other.

 And it turns out that Nathan and Greg are Best of Friends, and that day Nathan introduced Greg to me.

Kelsy , this is my best friend Greg.

“Oh hi Greg, I’m Kelsy and you are?, I’m Greg, he answered.

 We shook hands, when I hold his hand I feel like an electricity throughout my body,

 I never thought that his hand is so soft as if he was not fixing car the other day.

When I took my hand, He never let go of my hand.

 My hand, I said” .

Dude! “Nathan elbow him”.

Oh! My bad, I’m so sorry.

 We all laughed at Greg’s reaction. “Greg you just touched Kelsy’s hand, you looked like you were see a beautiful ghost right there. You are really different Dude!

 Love at First sight dude? Nathan said.

When Aunt Eli calls us, I am save by the bell. I’m so red like a tomato .

I’m so embarrassed that they matched us with Greg. Even though we both know each other that day.

Is it like destiny? Greg has no Girlfriend and as you are, right Kelsy? and it seems that you both have a spark.” Nathan and Mae said in unison. And they both giggled.

 Aunt Eli calls us again we bid goodbye to each other, “Goodnight babe, I love you” Mae said to Nathan,. And we were see you all tomorrow, and by the way Greg see you when Kelsy see you. They both laugh.

On that day, Greg didn’t really disappear from my system, because when he sees me I feel like I’m naked. Oh! God why can’t he get out of my mind. What is he doing to me. This is not good. I’m here to have fun, not to enter into a new relationship. I should really avoid him.

That morning I woke up immediately, because of the noise came from my door.

 “Kelsy wake up! Wake up. Mae said while banging my door.  “Didn’t you sleep well last night? “Mae asked?

Just a moment please! I said.

 I think I’m over sleep cousin. I’m still sleepy,

No! you need to come with me,So get up!  Because we were go to the beach..

Take a shower first and have a breakfast, we are waiting for you downstairs.

I was in a hurry. Because it was so embarrassing for me to wait me for a longtime.

When I went downstairs, I immediately went to the kitchen and I saw a man cooking my favorite dish,

It was Adobo!

 When he looked at my direction, I saw Greg’s face, I didn’t know he is the one who’s cooking, and it’s my favorite.

Oh! Your already awake? He asked, I nodded at him.

 Do you know how to cook? I asked Greg.

Ahmmm, He said.

It’s rare for men know how to cook.

 “Maybe not at all” Greg said.

It’s good! then you can get Married soon.

 It can be, as long as you are the Bride! He said.

I was stunned by what he said.

Your crazy!

 He just only laughed at me!

 And then silence between us,

But if I really do it? Do I have chance?

“I looked at him and said, Are you f***ng serious?

 Stop joking at me! It’s not fun anymore. Marriage is a sacrament only for those who love each other. I said!

What if I say that love at first sight do exist? Do you agree with that? Greg asked me!

 “No, maybe it’s crush at first sight. I said.  

Ok ! so anyway, you eat while the food I cooked is still hot. Greg said.
