Watching the old woman die was nothing different for myself and I was surprised it was having this much of an effect on Charlie especially after she just killed my brother and Max's sister..
Yes I ensured that the humans of Huntington had enough oleander to protect themselves from our kind but humans were still a pathetic weak force that somehow were still alive across the globe.
Charlie follows me outside, the clothes she was wearing swamped her body, hiding her beautiful frame, I wanted to tear them from her body.
She keeps looking back to the house, her confusion and worry affecting her scent
“It is not your fault Charlie” I knew it was coming, the need to blame herself, it was what she always did.
She finally looks up at me “I’m a monster”

Charlie’s POVMy head was so confused and Gypsy was no help either. I felt Zach, everything about him wanted me and yet I had a nagging feeling scratching at my brain about Max and I just could not get him out of my head. Alpha Zach’s POVI stir and find my arm wrapped around a pillow instead of my beautiful mate. The sun was bright and shining in through the open curtains. Charlie’s POVIt hurt so much, the pain of using my magic to stop Ripper was unbearable. It was like a painful punishment for using my magic against my mate but it wasn’t my mate in there, it was his wolf. Charlie’s POVThe Moon Goddess came to me when I was asleep. I was dreaming of being in a clearing in the forest. Ripper on one side of the circle whilst Zach stood on the opposite side. My heart felt like it was being torn in two until she appeared. She looked just like the images I had seen of her in books when I had first learnt about our kind.Her dark hair hung in loose curls around her face and down to her waist. Alpha Zach’s POVIt was the best and most eventful night of my life, she was perfect and I could not wait to do it all again. Hey everyone, I hope you are all well and I want to thank you so much for reading up until now, I really appreciate it and it keeps me motivated to write.
