Chapter # 60

Her mother was in the hospital and failing to stay at home on her own, she called me over.

“Hmm, what is it?” I sounded so cold.

“Denzel, I feel so scared,”

She whispered and was about to hug me but I stopped her. She made a crying face, so distressed by these troubles.

And worsening her state, I replied nonchalantly.

“Then marry him,”

And with a crushed heart and fragmented dreams, of losing her before I could have her. My mate was lost before I could gain the privilege of having her.

I had lost her.

“What? What did you just say?”

With an unwanted heart, I was confronting her.

She was trembling, tears were glistening in her eyes as I became a heartless one in her perspective.

“I said marry him. Kyle is the only one for you now.”

My enunciation brought tears to her sapphire eyes. She was holding the hem of her dress.
