“F*ck!”

I was stunned in my direction after realizing that the man I punched was actually Gideon.

I panicked. “I…I am so sorry, Alpha Gideon. I didn't know it was you…”

There was blood on the left side of Gideon's lips because of my hard punch. He didn't expect that coming attack, so he wasn't able to stop me. If I just knew that it's Gideon, I wouldn't do it.

“Do I look like a punching bag to your eyes?” Gideon asked, still covering his mouth. I grab his hand inside the cabin and let him sit on the couch.

“I didn't know you're coming into my house. I thought…”

Gideon didn't let me finish my words when he interrupted immediately.

“You expected that it would be James, right?”

A deep breath escaped out of my mouth from what he said. I looked at him deep into his eyes and saw the blank expression from his face. The words that James told me earlier flashes back into my head. He mentioned to me that Gideon allowed him to come here.
