Chapter 150: A Shape-shifter

A loud sound echoed through the area coming from my gun when I shot Gideon without a word. James turned his head at me, his brows furrowed because of what I did.

“He's too loud, and I hated it!” I uttered.

He chuckled, “I know, and you made the right decision.”

I bit my lower lips upon hearing his response to me. I turned my head towards Gideon who fell from the ground after I shot him when my eyes widened from what I found out.

“Damn it!” I cussed, kicking the dead body. “This is not Gideon, James!”

James checked the body after I said those, and he messed up his hair when he realized it as well.

“This is a shape-shifter,” he responded, while checking the wolf's pulse.
