Chapter 12: A New Home

I could still hear Selene's screams and cursed at the back from what I did to her. She can't accept the fact that a weak wolf like me will bite her arm. I don't want to do it with her but she pushed me to limits. She attacked me first and I just did what I was supposed to do to protect myself.

“I can't believe the reaction from her face when I bit her, Emerald!” Lilian uttered while laughing.

I shook my head, my lips curled.

“I was even surprised that we did it with her, knowing that she was the head warrior of Gideon's men.” I uttered towards Lilian.

She continued laughing, still can't believe what we did. I walked straight to my cabin where Cassandra was.

My heart almost melted when I saw my child, Jacob in his crib with Cassandra beside him. Cassandra lifted her head and placed a smile on her lips.

“How's the training, Emerald?” Cassandra looked at me while smiling.
