Chapter 11: A Broken Luna's Rage

“Is that what you've got?”

I gritted my teeth when these words came out from Selene's mouth. She's the head of the warrior wolves of Alpha Gideon, the one who was entrusted to train the newbies. Alpha Gideon assigned Selene to train me, and she's been so tough with me.

I have been doing my best to catch up with her lessons, but I can't understand why she's so tough with me.

‘She likes Gideon, remember?’

I tilted my head when I heard what Lilian had told me. She reminded me about what we found out before. Selene secretly adores Alpha Gideon. I understand now her reason for treating me like this.

‘I don't care about her feelings for the Alpha. She should separate her personal problems with work!’ I uttered through a mind communication.

‘Well, we can't blame her. She's just desperate to hurt you knowing how the Alpha cared for you.’

I just shook my head at Lilian's last sentence. My focus went back to Selene, who was grinning already. I fell to the ground, and I did not avoid
