Angelina turned her back on him and looked away. Even while it wasn’t the first time he’d shown weakness around her, it was one of the first times he took her to locations where he felt most at ease.

It is laughable to think that he didn’t want more from her in any way, shape, or form. Because his wolf would yearn for her just as much as hers would for his, it was only natural for him to act in that manner.
