MY EX'S RETURN.

CLAIRE'S POV

" Are you any better?" Karl asked with a tone of concern as he came into the room I was at the hospital. I turned my head to face the direction of his voice and I could see the fright in his eyes, the concern as he looked at me and the hurt in his heart to see me lying as I was.

" Karl still loved me." I muttered to myself as I stared at him too. He looked so bothered and worried about me. After all that had happened between us, I never thought for once that he would do all of this for me. But to my greatest surprise, he came through for me in no small way, he had brought me to the hospital and was so concerned about me. I assured myself he did all of these because of the love he had for me.

The nurses had told me that Karl had cleared all the bills too. No one knew we were separated but I knew I didn't deserve all Karl was doing for me. I broke down into tears as I saw him,as I cried uncontrollably unable to contain my emotions.

The thoughts
