" You are free now." One of the officers that had arrested me told me as he let me out of the cell, I was arrested after the issues with the files I had given Karl. There was a prove of theft that I knew nothing about. I calculated the numbers right and never tried to faciify any facts and having been to court, I was released on bail to be put in jail when proven guilty of the crime.

"Thank you." I said as I stepped out of the police station, a mix of relief and uncertainty washed over me. It was a bittersweet feeling to be free from the false accusations that had plagued my life for weeks. And even though there was a tendency of me going back to jail, I was happy to be out for a brief moment. I was going to ensure I was proven innocent. With my reputation tarnished and my job gone, I couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead.
