Chapter One hundred

Adriana’s POV

“I’d love a cup of coffee and wafers please?” A deep baritone voice called out to the pretty barista, immediately catching my attention.

I was presently standing in line at my new favorite coffee shop while I waited my turn to buy what I wanted and even until now, I didn’t know exactly what to buy as I wasn't a huge fan of coffee myself.

Actually, I wasn’t really here today because I wanted coffee but because I had come to try out my luck with the vacant position of barista.

I did this because I was sure that the ten grand I had withdrawn from my account would not sustain me for a long time if I didn’t do anything about my state and at the same time, I was scared of going to the bank again in fear that Massimo would track me down.

It’s been six days since I left and exactly six of the most peaceful days I’ve enjoyed in a very long time.

I sighed when the person in front of me took a step forward, compelling me to follow his actions.
