I stared at the figure standing before me with a stoic face. My mind was filled with thoughts of escaping but the constant throbbing on my wrists gave me the insight that I couldn't escape this.

“I have just spoken with your husband's grandfather, once the document is here you will be free.” the voice said.

I bit my tongue trying to keep myself from speaking, I had so many questions to ask but I wasn't really in the position to do so. I wondered what the documents that the girl was asking for consisted of. Knowing who grandpa Gomezwas, it might be about some business transaction that was worth a lot of money. Although the old man doesn't like me, I didn't want to believe that he would involve himself in unclean businesses. Jasontrusted his grandfather a little and I'm sure if it was what I was thinking then he'd be disappointed. I sat there watching the female make a series of calls and she was talking about the documents and some evidence that needed to be erased.
