I Won't Let Her Die Too

"Who is the owner of the documents? " I went back to our initial conversation.

"It's Lois Hughes" my Grandpa replied.

That name sounded familiar. Just as he said that, my phone rang again and this time it was the kidnappers number.

"It's the kidnapper," I announced to them before I picked the call and put it on speaker.

"Are you ready for me?" The voice said.

"Yes," my grandpa's reply was unexpected.

He hadn't even told us how the document was related to him and he was already agreeing to give it away. My heart shifted a little knowing that I had accused my grandpa in a rude way.

"But you will have to wait for a few hours for me to get it," he replied and I almost took back my words.

I was angry he was telling the kidnappers to wait. Wasn't he afraid that Violet was going to die?

"Why should I wait?" The kidnapper snapped.

The person speaking must be a very impatient one.

"Because I kept the documents far away and it would take a few hours to get it," my Grandpa re
