"Mom, can we just drop this conversation?"

I told my mother an hour later after she'd emerged from her room once more to complain about what a horrible child I was and how I was going to taint our name with the name of the Clarksville.

I was already getting old and I was tired of feeling bad and crying like a baby. Sure I had fucked up but they were acting like I did it on purpose. If only Joe had not said anything, I could have found an easier and better way to tell them but he just had to open his big mouth.

"Do not speak to your mother like that, especially when you know you are in the wrong."My father barked angrily.

My father wasn't a man of many words but when it came to the Clarksville, he was suddenly very Vocal. I wished they could just see past each other's hatred and realise that the hatred towards each other was uncalled for but I knew they couldn't, they had hated them too long to.

"In the wrong? All I did was get pregnant, the both of you are acting as if I
