Upon reflection, it seemed as if the boss had perceived a shift in the situation and chosen to leave for the moment.

Five minutes later, Joshua and Yoel had escorted Cynthia out of the hotel, smoothly navigating the entire operation without raising any suspicions. Just as Moe was preparing to depart, a man emerged from one of the rooms on the 23rd floor. It was the same man who had previously handed a cheque to Moe.

"Mr. Smith, please hold on a moment," the man called out, his voice dripping with cordiality.

Turning to glance at the man, Moe's brow furrowed when he recognized the man. "What are you doing here?" he questioned.

"I am here, obviously, to see if Mr. Smith has fulfilled his part of the agreement," the man responded with a light smile.

"Joshua has taken away Cynthia," Moe informed him.

"I am aware. However, this does not matter. Cynthia's relationship with Mr. Neal is not on good terms. Therefore, her trust in you surpasses that which she has in him," the man rep
