Yoel glanced at Joshua through the rearview mirror and ventured, "If you don't want to let Ms. Yates go, why don't you ask her to stay?"

"You think it's that easy?" Joshua retorted. If asking her to stay would help, he would have done it a long time ago.

Yoel touched his nose, chose to stay silent, and concentrated on driving.

"Didn't you say Moe was working as an assistant at another company? Why is he with Cynthia now?" Joshua finally started to think.

"I'm not entirely sure. He said his previous boss is on vacation, and he's currently working part-time for Ms. Yates," Yoel honestly confessed.

"And if you were in his shoes, would you take on a part-time job?" Joshua's tone grew colder, his gaze darker.

Yoel, noticing Joshua's expression, decided to answer honestly, "No, I wouldn't."

He would also take time off if his boss were on vacation. Regardless, he would still receive his salary, whether he worked or not. Most importantly, Moe was not in need of money. He'd saved
