"So, are you ready?" He asks her out of the blue and the stars din dramatically in her eyes.

"What? Ready for what?"

He beams at her under the small light in the pit. "Ready to drive this monster of course. I can't do it alone."

"I don't know how."

"It's pretty simple. You see that double handle in front of you?"

She nods.

"Hold on to it." She complies with his instructions. "Now, we're going to drive down the runway and when I signal, you pull the handle towards you, is that clear?"

Anxiously, she nods.

He places a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "I know and trust you, you'll be fine. It's pretty easy."

She takes a deep breath and sits upright, managing a small grin. "Let's go then, I'm ready."

He nods and turns around. He presses some buttons and the airplane whirs to life and begins to move slowly forward. He does the driving pretty much alone as she just presses slightly forward on hers the way she sees him do it just to assist him a bit.
