Calm...

The next morning, the door of the room opens and Mika opens her eyes, jumping slightly at the sound.

But it's only Luc with two ladies behind him. "Good morning, you seem to have slept well."

She smiles wryly. "Been a while since I slept so comfortably."

"Maybe because today is a pretty special day." He nods and the ladies walk out from behind him bearing a small but beautifully decorated cake that read "Congratulations on clearing your name!" on it.

"You can't make me cry so early in the morning." She states as tears begin to well up in her eyes.

Luc walks and sits beside her on the bed. "It's a good thing, it's called tears of joy so cry it very well, okay? When you're done, freshen up and join us downstairs." He pecks her on the cheeks before standing up.

Mika pulls her lips in a thin straight line as she notices the countenance of the ladies bearing the cake. They look at one another and smile to themselves in a way that was like "I told you so." That kind of smile.
