Chapter 44

“Welcome back, Emma,” Rosy ran toward Emma as she pulled her into a passionate embrace.

“Did someone miss me so much that she has to strangle me in a tight embrace immediately when she sees me?” Emma asked rhetorically, rolling her eyes.

Emma has gone to Diavolo to work with a company for a few weeks. It was a new company and Emma’s services were needed to train the new employees on the skills they needed to perform their jobs effectively.

Rosy disengaged from the embrace and said happily, “Who won't miss you?”

“I only left for a few weeks and you miss me this much,” Emma looked at Rosy suspiciously as she noticed Rosy was glowing and had added a little weight. “And why do you look this beautiful?” she asked.

Rosy stared at her for a while, she didn't know how to react to the question and if she didn’t come up with an idea soon, Emma will find out she was pregnant which she didn't want anyone to know yet.

“That's because I have been taking good care of myself, prioritizing myself firs
