Chapter 6

Joseph's POV:

Seeing Amaka Richard again after four years of ending my relationship with her made my blood boil hot.

I had tried so hard to forget her, but it was the hardest thing I did.

My family cannot be aware that I had an affair with a poor girl, although I took Amaka's virginity, but that didn't mean I must marry her. But nevertheless, she was the most beautiful young woman that I had ever seen.

When Amaka had walked into my office, my heart skipped several beats, and I was gasping for air, as my jaw dropped in surprise, looking at her face.

I swiftly composed myself when I saw the shock look on her face.

Amaka was more than shocked to see me, but I switched to the stoic side of myself, maintaining my professionalism. I had to pretend like I never knew her, but my manhood kept twitching in my boxers, longing for her wonderful touch.

"Um, have a seat," I gestured to Amaka. She tried to ask me if I knew her, but no way was I going back.

I had moved on, and my father wanted me to court the senator's daughter, Nina Stanley. Her father owned a tech company and was a great philanthropist.

Nina was tall, pretty, and a 24-year-old woman. Well, I lied to Amaka Richard about my true age.

I was 25 years old when I met Amaka Richard. I was returning from the gym house that day when I saw Amaka going home with her younger sister, Rita.

Amaka wore an armless red dress, and seeing how beautiful she was in that body-hugging red dress, I couldn't get her out of my mind.

Amaka came from an average family, and was easily gullible. When I had approached her then, I was scared she would reject me if I told her my real age, so I lied to her, just to get her to date me.

I showered Amaka with gifts, but she was only thinking about marriage. She wanted me to marry her, an eighteen-year-old girl.

I only wanted sex, so that my body would calm down from the level of effect that she had on me.

I had no idea that my father was planning to relocate to the Island, after his last successful business deal that made him become more famous.

Dad disclosed to my mother, me, and my two siblings that we wouldn't be living in Palazo town again, and that we had to move to the city's Island, where he could afford more luxury and a comfortable lifestyle.

This had cut my relationship with Amaka short, as I would have loved to sleep with her again, and again, before I relocated with my family.

Amaka was heartbroken after I had slept with her and told her that I moving out with my family.

Amaka delayed us having sex because she said she wanted to keep her virginity until marriage. She didn't want to lose herself to just any man, and I did lie to her that I would marry her just to eat her juicy cake.

I am a 29-year-old man now, and I'll be 30 in a month's time.

My father had handed over this company's branch to me after I proved my worth, while he continued with his new establishment on the Island.

As for my younger brother, Aaron Ericson, he's a 25 years old man, and had recently graduated. Although he had no interest in business and was into filming and skit-making, but my father wouldn't have that and wanted to force Aaron into managing the company second branch, but Aaron didn't care. Well, now I am confused on what to do?

Seeing that questioning look on Amaka's face, I knew that I had wronged her. I recalled that she later called me with a different number after I blocked her number and tried to forget about her.

Amaka called me that night and told me she was three months pregnant by me.

I was shocked, as I was at home with my mother. Mom had noticed the change in my demeanor, and she tried to ask me what the problem was.

She asked me, "What's wrong, Joseph? You look so tense, like you heard bad news. What happened?"

"Nothing, Mom. Please, excuse me," I quickly retreated to my room on the top floor and made it clear to Amaka that we were over.

That was the worst day of my life as I felt so bad to cut her off.

I warned Amaka never to call me again, saying, "Don't ever call me again, Amaka. We had sex only once. You refused me from touching you, so how can you conceive from that encounter?"

"But..." Amaka began.

"No buts. I used protection, and I remember withdrawing my dïck from you when we made love again!" I stated firmly to her. "Go on and look for who else you slept with and pin your child on him, and don't call me again."

"Gosh!" The memory came flooding back now, and I am confused on what to do.

'Should I own up that I know Amaka Richard?'

'Should I tell her that I'm sorry and that I hadn't forgotten about her?'

I was so confused, but seeing her smile with Simon made me jealous.

Amaka was beautiful, and she had cute dimples on her chubby cheeks.

I couldn't look away from her face, and I recalled how heavenly it tasted kissing her soft pink lips.

"Excuse me, sir, it's already 7 pm, and most of the staff has left the building. Aren't you going home for today?" My head of security, Tyler Ivan, came into my office and asked me.

"That's right. I will be going back home now," I said, rising from my office chair.

I shut down my laptop and packed it up to leave the company. I set it into my briefcase as I had some unfinished business to do.

My phone rang, startling me out of my trance. I picked up my phone from my office desk where I had kept it.

I glanced at the caller's identity and saw it was Nina Stanley calling me.

I got engaged to Nina last month because my father was on my neck, insisting that I marry Nina, and there was nothing else that I was waiting for. Since, we were rich, and likewise, Nina's family.

Under my father's pressure, I got engaged to Nina, even though it wasn't what I wanted, and I didn't give her a ring.

Nina was a business student too. She was very professional and managing one of her father's private tech company. She was classic, and not the type of lady to mess up with.

I love sex, and even after I had fallen out with Amaka Richard and moved over to the city mainland, I had slept with a few ladies that I paid to do the do with.

Nina wouldn't let me touch her as she said, no sex until we are married.

I respected Nina's choice, and since my father wanted us to marry, as I respect my father a lot as he came from a poor background and worked hard to achieve the height that he was today.

I couldn't say no to my father's request. So I complied and engaged Nina Stanley verbally.

I didn't engage Nina because I love her. I don't feel anything for her, but I do respect her professionalism. It gives me a sense of peace that she will educate my children well, and she's not a loose woman.

But now that I have seen Amaka Richard again, memories that I had long buried, feelings of the past that I tried so hard to forget, came rushing back into my mind.

Even thinking about Amaka now, her smile, her looks, and the way her big brown eyes held mine, made my dïck twitch in my pants, longing for her touch.

"You can leave, Tyler. I will soon leave the office, let me answer this call," I said, to which Tyler replied, "Okay, boss."

Tyler exited my office, and I answered my incoming call. "Hello, babe."
