Annelise's POV

She stopped me at a door, panting heavily. Angela looked so crazy that I wondered if this was the same sassy lady I know.

Another bang from the room had me jumping up in fright. It sounded like it was right behind my ear and not from inside.

“He's at it again." Angela muttered.

“What exactly is happening?" I asked her, I was scared and also confused at the same time.

“It happens like twice in six months, he's extremely angry. Please just go in, do anything to calm him down. Else he might end up destroying the whole house.” She told me.

How am I meant to calm him down when he gets angry each time he sees me itself? I do not have a death wish.

Angela pushed me again, attempting to open the door but I stopped her.

“I have no idea what I'm meant to do?” I asked her with confusion etched into my face.

“You're his wife, he should calm down by seeing you. You're meant to even know what to do."

She then violently pushed me into the room where something would have met my face if
