35. A saviour!

BELLATRIX....

He is gone just like that; he did not even look behind. Did I anger him too much? But how was it my fault? I did not instigate the fight, nor did I intentionally hurt Florence. For God's sake, I have no idea how she ended up getting hurt!

"Ma'am..." A sudden call broke my thoughts as I blinked and noticed Mathew. He was looking at me worriedly. "Are you alright, ma'am?" he asked.

Suddenly, I realized I was still in the car and quickly shook my head. "Uh—n-nothing. Good night, Mathew," I said, stepping out of the car.

At the entrance, the servants greeted me, startling me in the process. Back in the Valdez Villa, I wasn't greeted by the servants and was not used to their respectful response; therefore, I need to get used to it now.

I smiled at them slowly and walked up to my room with no trace of Victor. I wonder where he went? In his room, perhaps. Wait... we would have separate rooms, right?
