Jasmine has no idea on how she was ever going to make her escape from the blood moon pack, even though she was determined to leave, she didn't know how that was going to be possible, not until the perfect moment came knocking on her door; a party Stephan was hosting in a few days time.
Her joy knew no bounds when she heard the news about the party, a massive party where other alpha's from neighboring packs will be in attendance, even most of the strongest alpha's. It appears that the moon goddess was on her side this time, and her golden plan was to escape when the party was at its peak because she was so sure her presence wouldn't be noticed then.
Jasmine began counting the days until the night of the party; a night that would mark a new beginning for her and the child in her womb. For the next few days, she did her best to not overwork herself, and she began eating well, even though all that's always left for her were leftovers. She didn't let that discourage her and ate those leftovers with happiness, all for the sake of her child.
The day for the party finally arrived. The entire pack was so busy trying to put everything in place and making sure nothing was improper and that nothing went wrong with this party. If anything were to go wrong, Stephan would definitely have all the workers' heads served on a silver platter.
Surprisingly, no one really paid any attention to Jasmine on this particular day, they hardly gave her any work to do, and it's all because they didn't trust her to not make a mistake on this day. After all, who would want to get punished over the mistake of one silly omega.
Jasmine was smart enough to use her leisure time well. While everyone went about with the decorations, she was busy packing the little stuff she had, and also stole enough food to keep her moving for a few days.
She didn't step out of her room for the whole day, and it did surprise her that not a single person came to look for her.
According to her plan, she did wait until the party was at its peak before taking her little bag and sneaking out of her room. Before making her way out of the pack house, she said a silent prayer to the moon goddess, asking that she protect her on this journey, and if not for anything else but for the sake of her baby.
As she had predicted earlier, the entire pack was at the party and there were only a few guards left to guard the pack. It shouldn't be too difficult getting away from them.
To mask her scent, Jasmine had to apply mud on her hands, face, and clothes. She already knows the pack like the back of her hands and knows the perfect route to take; a part with hardly any guards around there.
Jasmine hurriedly made her way into the woods, she had no idea where she was going to go, but for now, her top priority was getting far away from this pack, to a place Stephan will never ever find her.
If it hadn't been for the moon that was shining so bright, she would have been blinded by the darkness, and without a wolf, her senses weren't as sharp.
Jasmine has no idea how far she's gone, but she could no longer hear the music that was being played in the pack, so that gave her some hope that she must have gotten a bit far from the pack. She was getting tired, and her stomach was starting to growl in hunger, but she couldn't stop now…. Not yet, not until she completely makes her escape from the blood moon pack.
“Please give me the strength I need, moon goddess.” She prayed silently, also hoping that nothing happened to her baby on this journey.
She really thought she could manage to do it; gather enough strength to keep moving. But her legs were so tired, and she knew that if she didn't stop for a little rest, she might actually pass out from exhaustion; that's the last thing she needs right now.
For the sake of her child, Jasmine decides to stop and rest for a few minutes, it'll only be a few minutes, then she'll continue her journey. Just as she was about to take a sit on the floor, she heard something snapping and instantly became alert.
Jasmine frantically looked around her, searching for the cause of the sound. Her heart was starting to race so fast and panic was already setting in, but she convinced herself to keep calm.
The snapping sound came again, increasing her fear. She fearfully looked around and found a stick, then she picked it up and pointed it forward.
“Who's there?” Jasmine questioned, her voice trembling due to fear. “Who's there? Show yourself!'' Her whole body was literally shaking due to her fear of the unknown.
For a moment, everywhere seems to have gone quiet, too quiet for her liking. Suddenly, three men emerged from the woods, whistling and laughing.
“Hey, look, it's a pretty one.” One of the men said.
Jasmine slowly moved back in fear, still pointing the stick at them like she could even do anything with it. “P… please, I don't want any trouble, I just want to be on my way.” From their appearance, even though their faces weren't clearly visible, she could tell they were rogues.
“Trouble?” Another said as he took a step forward. “We don't want any trouble either, we just want to have a little fun with you.” He chuckled loudly, and the other two joined in laughing along.
“Please.” Jasmine pleaded, her eyes stinging with unshed tears. “I just want to be on my way, that's all I ask.” She cried.
She sincerely feared what these men would do to her, but she didn't mind pleading with them for her life and for them to just let her go.
“Trust me, lady, you will be on your way, but only after we've had our fun with you.” The man replied, he then let out a loud howl before they surrounded her.
Jasmine didn't know what to do, she kept turning around as she fearfully thought of what to do and how to escape them, but it turns out she's the only vulnerable person here, and with no wolf, she wouldn't be able to defend herself from these rogues.
The realization of what her fate would be was hitting her so hard. She's made a promise to not let anything happen to her child, so even though this was already a lost fight, she needs to try to defend herself.
Her heart cried out to the moon goddess to send help to her.
“This can't happen. It just can't!” She muttered as hot tears streamed down her cheeks.
In a loud voice, Jasmine began crying out for help, but the rogues could only laugh at her as they watched her cry out for help. They told her that no one would be coming to save her in these woods.
They toyed with her for a while, pretending to launch at her, and enjoyed watching her screaming and moving back in fear. Nothing excites them more than seeing a weak prey, it's what makes this even much fun for them.
When they seemed to have had enough of toying with Jasmine, one of the men launched at her, roughly grabbing her and shoving her to the ground. He howled once more before getting on top of her and pinning her hands above her head, giving her no chance to struggle with him.
The plan was to take their turns on her and have fun until they've had enough of her.
Jasmine trashed the air with her legs, screaming and pleading for the man to let her go.
“Please…. Please let me go.” She cried, but her pleas fell on deaf ears.
“No, princess. Not until we've all had a taste of you.'' He replied, then he began undressing, getting ready to have his way with her.
Just when she thought her life was finally getting better, that was when fate decided to trick her once more.Jasmine recalled her promise to protect her baby. She gathered all the strength she had left in her and while the man was frantically undressing himself, Jasmine slapped him hard, she then pushed him off her and dragged herself up.She wanted to run away but got caught by the other two men. Jasmine tried fighting them off, she screamed at the top of her lungs; asking them to let her go, but instead she got slapped by one of them. The other man whom she had hit hurriedly stood up, he roughly grabbed her hand and turned her to him, then he also slapped her.“How dare you, bitch!” He thundered.Jasmine was crying bitterly. She hated herself for being so weak. If only she had a wolf, then she would have been able to defend herself from these rogues.“I was thinking of going easy on you, but since you want to do this the hard way, I'm going to make sure you regret your actions.” T
As they entered the Crescent moon pack's territory, Jasmine's eyes widened in awe. The pack's sprawling grounds were a masterful blend of wild beauty and organized structure. The air was alive with the sweet scent of blooming wildflowers and the soft rustle of leaves. The overall effect was breathtaking, a harmonious fusion of wilderness and wonder. When the car finally stopped, Nicolai got out first before going to help Jasmine out.“We should get you checked up first.” He said to her,“What?” Jasmine furrowed her brow, confused.“I mean, I'm going to take you to the pack doctor to examine you and get you treated if you have any injuries.'' He explained.Jasmine nods in understanding, she has no problem with this, at least she'll be able to know how her baby is doing. She placed her hand on her tummy as she followed Nicolai to the pack hospital.***Jasmine didn't expect the pack hospital to be as huge as it was, the one in her pack wasn't even up to this. Everything about the Cresce
Stephan was in his room making out with his mistress Laura when a knock on his door interrupted them."Alpha!" A voice called from outside."Damn it!" Stephan spat in annoyance. "What could be the problem now?" He pulled away from Laura's embrace and wanted to go answer the door, but was immediately stopped by Laura."Why don't you just leave it. You can always tend to those business later." She said, seductively trailing her finger tips down his chest.Stephan smirked, then he kissed her. "I'll be back." He got down from the bed and went to answer the door.Laura scoffed. "Mood killer!" She whispered."This better be important." Stephan warned the guard the moment he opened the door."I sincerely apologize for the disturbance, Alpha. I came to inform you that Jasmine is nowhere to be found. We've scanned the whole area, but there's no sight of her anywhere.""What? What do you mean she's nowhere to be found!? Where could she have gone to?""We have no idea, Alpha. But we suspect that
"Wow! It's really way more complicated than I thought." Kent said, he was now sitting beside Nicolai on his bed. "So you're saying she's not only a rejected mate, but also an expecting mother! What kind of idiot will do that to his own mate?" He ran his hand through his hair in frustration. "I feel so sorry for her, she doesn't deserve all that, and I'm glad you helped her." He looked at Nicolai. After narrating the whole story to Kent, Nicolai suddenly fell silent."I want to ask you a question, Nicolai." Nicolai sighed deeply. "What's it?""I know you helped her, and we can't also deny the fact that she's your second chance mate, but do you have any intention of ever accepting her as you mate, and I'm pretty sure you know the reason I'm asking you this question. What will you do about her?" Nicolai didn't have to think too much about his reply. "No. I may not be able to accept her as my mate, but I'm going to help her and make sure she's alright." He replied. "You know, Kent. I co
After making sure that Jasmine's food has been served, Nicolai excused himself from the dining room, saying he's got an urgent matter that he needs to take care of, but he promised her that he'll be back in time to take her to the hospital.Jasmine didn't want him to leave her all alone, but she doesn't even know how to say the words, so all she could do was to helplessly watch him leave.Thankfully, there weren't anyone else in the dinning room except for her, and that alone was enough to make her feel a little bit relaxed. The aroma of the food filled the air, causing her stomach to grumble. Since she was already salivating due to the sumptuous meals in front of her, Jasmine hurriedly picked her cutlery and digged into the food. While she was busy devouring the dishes in front of her, an unknown voice interrupted her."So you're the one I've been hearing about."Jasmine sharply turned to see an unknown lady standing at the door way. She exuded elegance, her refined features and impe
"Where could that bitch be!?" Stephan muttered to himself as he angrily paced around his room.Laura who was sitting on his bed couldn't help but roll her eyes at his words. "I wonder why he's so bothered about her." She scoffed."I can hear you, Laura." Stephan said with a warning growl.Laura heaved a deep breath. "The guards clearly said that they've searched everywhere for her, but she's nowhere to be found." Laura stated. "Couldn't that mean something? If they can't find her or her dead body, then maybe she's escaped to somewhere else. She could literally be in another pack by now, or maybe other wolves would have made a feast out of her body, after all she's nothing but a helpless omega who can't even fight to save her life.""I still see no reason why you should be stressing yourself about her, and if you badly want to find her that much, why don't you just go see the pack witch or something." She scoffed.Stephan wanted to yell at her and ask her to shut up, but when he heard
Laura paced outside Stephan's mansion, nervously waiting for him to come back since he's been gone for quite sometime. She couldn't stop praying that the pack's priestess shouldn't tell him anything about Jasmine's whereabouts, and even if she wants to tell him anything, let it be the news of her death."This is all my fault! It's all my fault!" She slapped her mouth.Soon, Stephan's car drove into the premises, and Laura was finally able to feel a bit relieved. When Stephan stepped out of his car, she immediately ran to him."Stephan, d...did you find out where she is?" She asked, but Stephan didn't even reply, he just kept walking into the mansion, while Laura followed him, trying to get some answers out of him."Why won't you say anything to me? Remember I was the one who brought the idea of going to see the pack's priestess, so I deserve to know what she told you." She said. They were already at Stephan's room by now, and he hasn't even said a single word to her, he just keeps on
Jasmine was done with her check-up, and Nicolai was currently giving her a tour around the pack."Is it really okay to do this for me? I'm sure you have other important things to do." She said, feeling bad that Nicolai had to trouble himself by giving her a tour when he should be using his time for something important."I'm not complaining, unless you're tired and want to go back home, then I'll take you back. I just want you to know the pack a bit." "Thank you, and I'm not tired, I'm just feeling bad that you have to go through this trouble for me." Jasmine replied."It really is nothing, I just...." Nicolai trailed when he noticed that her shoelace had loosen. Knowing how dangerous it'll be for her if she should trip and fall, he immediately asked her to stop."What's wrong?" "Your shoelace is untied." He was about kneeling to help her tie her shoelace when she stopped him."What are you doing?" Jasmine asked, surprising Nicolai."I want to help you tie your shoelace, I don't want
"You're kidding, right? You didn't really kiss the Alpha." Clara asked, a hint of excitement in her voice. "I honestly can't believe I'm hearing this right now." She giggled."I'm not kidding. I did, and since I've told you guys what really happened, can we stop talking about it now, I really don't want to remember it." Jasmine ran her hand through her hair. The moment Jasmine said those words, Samantha and Clara's excitement instantly wore off.Samantha furrowed her brow in confusion "Why not?" "Because it was stupid of me." Jasmine complained. "It was a mistake, I never should have done that and I completely regret my actions. I just want to forget it ever happened.""Are you sure? Or you're just mad the Alpha ignored you because of it." Clara asked.Jasmine fell silent for a while, as she thought about Clara's question. "No, it's not." She finally replied. "Yes I'm still upset that he ignored me after that happened, but it's not the reason I regret it. I just... regret it." She sa
Jasmine was pacing back and forth in her room, trying to calm down. She was still fuming from her argument with Nicolai, and she couldn't believe she had spoken to him like that. But as she thought back on their conversation, Jasmine realized that she had been right to stand up to Nicolai. He needed for take responsibility for his actions, and he needed to learn to control his temper.Jasmine took a deep breath, feeling a sense of determination wash over her. She was going to make sure that Nicolai didn't get away with his behaviour. He had ignored her and it's still hurting her. With a newfound sense of confidence, Jasmine walked over to her bed and sat down, and she tried hard not to think about how she had spoken to Nicolai.A knock on her door interrupted her thoughts. Jasmine immediately stood up, her heart pounding in her chest. She thought it was Nicolai, and she wasn't even ready to face him."What do I do? What do I do?" She panicked. The knock came again, followed by a famil
Kent, Samantha, and Clara arrived, and Nikolai immediately stepped out of the car. Kent began to speak, but Nikolai cut him off."We got the name of who sent them, and—" Kent said, before Nikolai interrupted him."Arianna Holland." Nikolai finished, his eyes blazing with fury.Kent's brow furrowed in confusion. "That's right, how did you know?" He asked.Nikolai's jaw clenched. "Jasmine told me. Arianna had her kidnapped to blackmail me into signing a contract with her father and marrying her."Kent's expression turned incredulous. "That's one crazy woman!" He exclaimed. "How could she go that far just to be with you?"Nikolai's voice dropped to a menacing tone. "It doesn't matter. What matters is that they're going to pay for what they've done."Kent's eyes widened in concern. "Nick, maybe we should—"Nikolai cut him off, his voice firm. "Don't say anything, Kent. They've crossed the line, and I'm not going to let that slide."Kent sighed, knowing that Nikolai was beyond reason. "The
Nicolai's car screeched to a halt beside the bridge. He, Kent, Samantha, and Clara jumped out, their eyes scanning the surroundings. Nicolai's nose twitched as he sniffed the air, homing in on Jasmine's scent."They went through those woods." Nicolai growled, pointing towards the forest. "That's where her scent is coming from."Samantha nodded. "I caught her scent too, Alpha."Nicolai took off in a flash, his pack close behind. They weaved through the trees, stopping occasionally to sniff the air and track Jasmine's scent. As they delved deeper into the woods, a cottage came into view. Nicolai's ears perked up, focusing on the sounds within."I hear their heartbeats." Nicolai whispered.Kent nodded. "I hear it too. My guess is there are five or six of them, including Jasmine."Nicolai's eyes blazed with fury. "What are we waiting for? Let's go."Kent grasped Nicolai's arm, holding him back. "Remember, they're just humans, Nick. You can't kill them. Please."Nicolai's gaze turned icy,
"I'm really worried, Samantha. Don't you think we should be doing something? We should be out there searching for her, not sitting here waiting for some sort of miracle to happen." Clara said, getting up from her bed."We should leave it to the Alpha, what if doing something else gets us into more trouble with him? We're already at the verge of loosing our lives over our mistake." "I don't care, Samantha. I don't care if the Alpha will kill me or not, but it's our fault Jasmine got kidnapped today, and it's our duty to find her and make those people pay." Clara replied, her voice laced with anger and determination.Samantha looked at her for a while, then she heaved a deep breath before getting up as well. "Alright, but where do start from? We don't even know where those people took her too." She stated in frustration."Are you forgetting that we're not humans? We're werewolves, Samantha. We need to use our sense of smell and try tracking her down." Clara pointed out. "Let's go get s
"W...what do we do?" Clara asked, tears streaming down her cheeks."We have to go back and tell the Alpha." Samantha replied, also crying."Tell the Alpha? He's going to kill us for failing to protect her.""What choice do we have!?" Samantha half yelled. "We have to go to him now." She made to leave but Clara held her hand, stopping her."Why don't we go after them? We can catch up with them." Clara suggested."We can't! We need the Alpha." Samantha replied before dashing into the company with Clara closely behind her. When they got to Nicolai's office floor, they simply ran into his office before the receptionist had the chance to even stop them. The receptionist wanted to go after them, but she remembered how Nicolai scolded her before and simply let things be to avoid getting into trouble again."Alpha." Samantha cried as they both fell to their knees, blood dripping from their head down to their faces. When Nicolai saw the state they were in, he immediately stood up, worry etched
As Nicolai finished his meeting, his receptionist went to inform him of Jasmine's arrival. Meanwhile, Arianna approached Jasmine with a smile."You must be Jasmine." Arianna said."Arianna." Jasmine replied, standing up with Samantha and Clara."It's good to see you again.'' Arianna said, but Jasmine remained silent."Here to see Nick?" Arianna asked."Yes." Jasmine whispered."Alright, I'll see you around.'' Arianna winked at her before leaving. Clara turned to Jasmine."Who's that?" Clara asked."I really don't like her.'' Samantha added."Doesn't matter.'' Jasmine sighed. "I'll go see Nick now."Samantha nodded. "We'll be right here waiting."Jasmine approached the receptionist. "May I go in now?"The receptionist's expression turned apologetic. "I'm afraid you can't. Mr. Nicolai is still busy and won't be taking any visitors."Jasmine scoffed in disbelief. "But... did you tell him I was the one?""Yes, I did.'' the receptionist replied.Jasmine's anger flared up. "So this is how y
After that day, Jasmine tried countless of times to see Nicolai, but nothing worked because he always manages to escape her every single time, he's also stopped coming to stay with her every night, and the whole thing is so frustrating. She was currently in her room with Samantha and Clara, and although she badly needs someone to talk to, she just couldn't talk to them about this because that would be weird; telling them that she kissed Nicolai and now he's avoiding her."Jasmine." Clara called, lightly tapping her arm."Yes." Jasmine flinched."Are you okay? You've been acting weird lately, you're always zoning out. Is everything okay?" Clara asked, her voice laced with concern."I'm fine, it's just...." Jasmine trailed when she suddenly thought of something. "Do you guys know how to get to Nicolai's company?" She asked, her voice hopeful."The Alpha's company in the city?" Samantha asked. Jasmine nods in reply."Yes, but why do you ask?" Samantha asked, giving her a suspicious look.
Jasmine flinched as she sharply turned around. "Samantha!" She called, sighing in relief. "I...It's you." She stuttered. "You scared me.""I'm sorry, but what are you doing here? I'm not sure you know this, but no one is allowed to come into the Alpha's room unless you're here to clean." "I'm sorry, I was just looking for him, and when I saw the door open, I couldn't resist coming in to check if he's here.""He isn't, the Alpha already left for work.""What?" Jasmine furrowed her brow. "But that's not the time he usually leaves for work.""I know right, but maybe he's got something important to do.'' Samantha shrugged. "Really, Nick? All because of me? You're really putting so much effort into making sure we never see each other. How long will this continue, Nick? For how long will you continue to avoid me?" Jasmine thought."Come on, Jasmine. We better leave or we'll both get in trouble." Samantha gently took her arm and led her out of Nicolai's room. ***Mr. Holland was on a busi
