Chapter 3

Jasmine has no idea on how she was ever going to make her escape from the blood moon pack, even though she was determined to leave, she didn't know how that was going to be possible, not until the perfect moment came knocking on her door; a party Stephan was hosting in a few days time.

Her joy knew no bounds when she heard the news about the party, a massive party where other alpha's from neighboring packs will be in attendance, even most of the strongest alpha's. It appears that the moon goddess was on her side this time, and her golden plan was to escape when the party was at its peak because she was so sure her presence wouldn't be noticed then.

Jasmine began counting the days until the night of the party; a night that would mark a new beginning for her and the child in her womb. For the next few days, she did her best to not overwork herself, and she began eating well, even though all that's always left for her were leftovers. She didn't let that discourage her and ate those leftovers with happiness, all for the sake of her child.

The day for the party finally arrived. The entire pack was so busy trying to put everything in place and making sure nothing was improper and that nothing went wrong with this party. If anything were to go wrong, Stephan would definitely have all the workers' heads served on a silver platter.

Surprisingly, no one really paid any attention to Jasmine on this particular day, they hardly gave her any work to do, and it's all because they didn't trust her to not make a mistake on this day. After all, who would want to get punished over the mistake of one silly omega.

Jasmine was smart enough to use her leisure time well. While everyone went about with the decorations, she was busy packing the little stuff she had, and also stole enough food to keep her moving for a few days.

She didn't step out of her room for the whole day, and it did surprise her that not a single person came to look for her.

According to her plan, she did wait until the party was at its peak before taking her little bag and sneaking out of her room. Before making her way out of the pack house, she said a silent prayer to the moon goddess, asking that she protect her on this journey, and if not for anything else but for the sake of her baby.

As she had predicted earlier, the entire pack was at the party and there were only a few guards left to guard the pack. It shouldn't be too difficult getting away from them.

To mask her scent, Jasmine had to apply mud on her hands, face, and clothes. She already knows the pack like the back of her hands and knows the perfect route to take; a part with hardly any guards around there.

Jasmine hurriedly made her way into the woods, she had no idea where she was going to go, but for now, her top priority was getting far away from this pack, to a place Stephan will never ever find her.

If it hadn't been for the moon that was shining so bright, she would have been blinded by the darkness, and without a wolf, her senses weren't as sharp.

Jasmine has no idea how far she's gone, but she could no longer hear the music that was being played in the pack, so that gave her some hope that she must have gotten a bit far from the pack. She was getting tired, and her stomach was starting to growl in hunger, but she couldn't stop now…. Not yet, not until she completely makes her escape from the blood moon pack.

“Please give me the strength I need, moon goddess.” She prayed silently, also hoping that nothing happened to her baby on this journey.

She really thought she could manage to do it; gather enough strength to keep moving. But her legs were so tired, and she knew that if she didn't stop for a little rest, she might actually pass out from exhaustion; that's the last thing she needs right now.

For the sake of her child, Jasmine decides to stop and rest for a few minutes, it'll only be a few minutes, then she'll continue her journey. Just as she was about to take a sit on the floor, she heard something snapping and instantly became alert.

Jasmine frantically looked around her, searching for the cause of the sound. Her heart was starting to race so fast and panic was already setting in, but she convinced herself to keep calm.

The snapping sound came again, increasing her fear. She fearfully looked around and found a stick, then she picked it up and pointed it forward.

“Who's there?” Jasmine questioned, her voice trembling due to fear. “Who's there? Show yourself!'' Her whole body was literally shaking due to her fear of the unknown.

For a moment, everywhere seems to have gone quiet, too quiet for her liking. Suddenly, three men emerged from the woods, whistling and laughing.

“Hey, look, it's a pretty one.” One of the men said.

Jasmine slowly moved back in fear, still pointing the stick at them like she could even do anything with it. “P… please, I don't want any trouble, I just want to be on my way.” From their appearance, even though their faces weren't clearly visible, she could tell they were rogues.

“Trouble?” Another said as he took a step forward. “We don't want any trouble either, we just want to have a little fun with you.” He chuckled loudly, and the other two joined in laughing along.

“Please.” Jasmine pleaded, her eyes stinging with unshed tears. “I just want to be on my way, that's all I ask.” She cried.

She sincerely feared what these men would do to her, but she didn't mind pleading with them for her life and for them to just let her go.

“Trust me, lady, you will be on your way, but only after we've had our fun with you.” The man replied, he then let out a loud howl before they surrounded her.

Jasmine didn't know what to do, she kept turning around as she fearfully thought of what to do and how to escape them, but it turns out she's the only vulnerable person here, and with no wolf, she wouldn't be able to defend herself from these rogues.

The realization of what her fate would be was hitting her so hard. She's made a promise to not let anything happen to her child, so even though this was already a lost fight, she needs to try to defend herself.

Her heart cried out to the moon goddess to send help to her.

“This can't happen. It just can't!” She muttered as hot tears streamed down her cheeks.

In a loud voice, Jasmine began crying out for help, but the rogues could only laugh at her as they watched her cry out for help. They told her that no one would be coming to save her in these woods.

They toyed with her for a while, pretending to launch at her, and enjoyed watching her screaming and moving back in fear. Nothing excites them more than seeing a weak prey, it's what makes this even much fun for them.

When they seemed to have had enough of toying with Jasmine, one of the men launched at her, roughly grabbing her and shoving her to the ground. He howled once more before getting on top of her and pinning her hands above her head, giving her no chance to struggle with him.

The plan was to take their turns on her and have fun until they've had enough of her.

Jasmine trashed the air with her legs, screaming and pleading for the man to let her go.

“Please…. Please let me go.” She cried, but her pleas fell on deaf ears.

“No, princess. Not until we've all had a taste of you.'' He replied, then he began undressing, getting ready to have his way with her.
