CELESTE'S POV
“Why don't you just let this go Celeste?” Mrs Montclair asked, earning a glare from me. How could she ask something so stupid. There was absolutely no way I was going to let it go. I spent days in the dungeon all because of that stupid rogue. “Do you want that thing to be your Luna instead?” I snarled. She shook her head and sighed. “I don't, no one in the pack wants that. But the Alpha is hell bent on keeping her here and we have to obey him.” “The Alpha is under her spell, he can't make important decisions like this on his own. We have to help him,” I whispered, taking her hand into mine. “Imagine what it will be like when everyone thanks and praises you for saving their alpha and pack from disaster.” She looked at me unsure, I offered her a smile and lightly nodded. “I am afraid of her. Yesterday she had a fight with the Alpha.” She bit her lip. “That disrespectful, mannerless piece of trash,” I cussed. I didn't understand why Zephyr was taking all this disrespect and shit from that little rogue. She wasn't even that pretty. “Did you hear what they were arguing about?” I asked curiously. “I didn't hear everything but I heard her saying something about a blood memory.” She touched the tip of her fingernails. “B-blood memory?” I asked. She nodded her head. “She was wiggling her fingers in front of him. Apparently she can access someone's memories by touching their blood.” “She can do what?” I asked, not believing my ears. This can't be, that day…she had some of my blood on her hand. She couldn't have seen it right. “She someone's memories by coming in contact with their blood. I know right I was shocked too. What if I happen to cut myself and she sees my memories,” she panicked. “Then she would tell the Alpha that I was the one who had been telling you all the things happening around him.” She got off her chair and began pacing around. “If he finds out, he will kill me and kick my family out of the pack,” she rumbled, shaking her head. “I can't do this anymore.” “Stella,” I called but she kept pacing up and down. “Stella!” I yelled, grabbing her shoulders. “ Stop it. Nothing is going to happen okay. She is not going to find out anything. Nothing at all.” She shook her head moving away from me. “Should I just confess? Yeah, yes I should.” I grabbed the front of her dress. “STELLA I SWEAR IF YOU SO MUCH AS THINK OF OPENING YOUR MOUTH I WILL KILL YOU.” “Celeste please,” She pleaded, tears filling her eyes. “I am really scared. What if she…” “She won't,okay.” I sighed, running a hand through my hair. This was getting out of hand. Mrs Montclair had always been my spy in Zephyr's house. She told me every single thing he did when he was home. I couldn't let her back out now. I was already worried about the dirty rogue knowing my secret and now I had to deal with this old hag’s drama. “Mrs Montclair,” I whispered. “We will be okay, nothing is going to happen so don't worry. All we need to do is help the Alpha come back to his senses and for that to happen you need to keep reporting to me.” “I really hope you are right Celeste. I don't want to face the Alpha's wreath.” She whispered, wiping her tears. “You won't,” I promised. “Once I become the luna i will make sure you get rewarded for your help.” I smiled at her. “Okay, I will give it a try. I just hope that she will not find out anything.” She said. “She won't, okay. Now wash your face and go home.” She nodded and headed to the bathroom. After promising not to tell anyone about our meetings, she left. As soon as the door was closed, I began pacing up and down trying to think of ways to get rid of Morrigan. I didn't know how her powers worked and how much she had seen but she probably knew, that's why she looked at me with so much shock. I couldn't let her tell anyone about this. I needed to get rid of her, but how could I do that without risking my life? I couldn't use rogues to kill her because of the border patrols. I closed my eyes trying to think of what I could do, I couldn't poison her because I didn't have access to her food. I grabbed my hair and gave a light tug. “Malakai!” I whispered. Malakai was going to be the answer to all my problems. All I needed to do was find the perfect time to talk to him.MORRIGAN'S POV “Morrigan.” A distant voice whispered. “Morrigan.” The person said a bit louder. I turned my head left and right looking for the owner of the voice. I couldn't see where I was, the place was covered by a thick layer of fog. How did I get here? “Who are you?” I called into the fog. “You are so close child. Come to me.” The person said. I frowned, who the hell was this. Come to me, who? I put my hand in front of me and stumbled forward. It was as if my wolf senses were gone. “Look lady, I don't know who you are, but…” my sentence got cut off as I lost my footing and tumbled down into an ice cold body of water. I let out a pained scream. The water was so cold it felt like there were razors cutting into my body. “Wake up.” An all too familiar voice said, panic laced in his voice. My eyes shot open. The pain disappeared but the cold stayed. My whole body felt wet and weak. Zephyr was looking down at me with a cold look on his face but his eyes were saying some
MORRIGAN'S POV“So hungry.”I grumbled rubbing my stomach. It had been a while since I'd eaten something. Being a rogue had its ups and downs, and today I was experiencing one of those downsides. I lost my parents when I was young and ever since then I'd just been on my own moving from one place to another. There were good and bad moments. When you are a rogue you need to be careful of both packs and other rogue wolves. Packs want to either imprison you or kill you, some want you to join their packs and rogues want to steal from you or kill you and when you are female they take advantage of you. After a while of being a lone wolf I'd just decided to avoid going near pack territories and avoid other rogue wolves as much as possible, but it was not always possible. I always stuck to the dense forests, most packs cleared their territories and they always marked them so I could smell it from miles away. ‘Snap’, a sharp sound had me looking around. I smelt it before I saw it, a rabbit. My
MORRIGAN'S POV “Bang!” A loud sound jolted me up. My head was pounding. Everything hurts like hell. I tried opening my eyes but they wouldn't open. The wolfsbane was delaying my healing process.“Get them out!” Someone yelled, causing my head to hurt even more.“Get up!” I felt a sharp kick in my side. I groaned in pain.“Drag her out, the alpha is waiting.” Someone else said.“Drag me out?” I thought, as soon as I managed to get out of here I am going to make these motherfuckers pay for the pain I am going through.Someone dragged me out like I was a log. My sense of smell started coming back. I could smell different scents and food. At the smell of food my eyes shot open, I immediately closed them again because of the bright light. It was way brighter than in the dungeon. “Is she the last one?” A deep voice said. It sent shivers down my spine. This was definitely an alpha, and a strong one at that.“Yes Alpha.” The same person from the dungeon answered. I was forced to kneel.“Wh
ZEPHYR'S POV“Is it done?” I asked my Beta, Ronan. He nodded his head. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.A mate was the last thing on my mind. I admit there were moments, when I had been younger, that I had secretly yearned for someone to call my own, but that was years ago. I had just come to terms that the moon goddess had forgotten to create a mate for me.But then the moment I touched her it felt like the world had come to a stop and it was only her and I left in the entire world. I yearned for her. I could never have imagined that a rogue would be my mate. “She put up a fight and she kept screaming for us to let her go.” Ronan said, bringing me out of my thoughts. “Keep her in there until I make up my mind and be careful we do not know what else she can do. ” I waved my hand and Ronan walked out, but not before shooting me a worried look. As soon as the door closed, I faced up before closing my eyes. What a mess. Could I really accept her as my mate? I didn't even k
ZEPHYR'S POV“How could you!?” Celeste shouted. She and the rest of the pack members had found out about the rogue wolf who also happened to be my mate and they didn't take it well, especially Celeste. But what could they do, I was their alpha and they had to listen to me especially when it was matters about my mate.Celeste had followed me all the way from the training grounds to my office, she looked pissed and ready to explode. I knew this was not going to be easy. Celeste and I have known each other since we were still young pups. She was the first female I fell for and we were each other’s first of everything.Everyone knew of our relationship and they supported us, they saw her as the future Luna of our pack. Everything was going well until my parents passed away.My father passed away after suffering from a terrible sickness and my mother followed shortly from heartbreak. It was the worst time in my life but I had to be strong for the sake and survival of my pack. Celeste an
MORRIGAN'S POV “I am not going to reject you.” He growled, sending a shiver down my spine. “Why? Why not?” I questioned desperately. I needed to get out of here and away from this man.“Because you're mine.”I opened and shut my mouth trying to think of ways to make him reject me or at least let me out. “If you do not let me go, I will kill every single person in your pack.” I threatened, praying and hoping I looked and sounded threatening enough. Before I could process what happened I was on my back. Zephyr straddled me, locking both my hands on my sides. “What are you trying to do! Get off me.” I struggled under him trying to get hit off of me.I panicked and my heart began thumping loudly. Was he going to rape me? I had been in a situation like this one too many times when I was still younger, when I wasn't strong yet but I had always gotten away. “You will do nothing of that sort. If you try it I will wrap you up in fucking wolfsbane and keep you locked up in here like a fuck
CELESTE'S POV: I angrily paced up and down. How could Zephyr do this to me? I had been there for him through thick and thin. How could he choose a disgusting rogue over me? “Why, why, why!” I yelled, angrily running my hands through my hair. How was it possible? Did she cast a spell on him? I mean there is absolutely no way Zephyr would fall for a rogue. Yes! That was probably it, I have to help him get rid of that dirty rogue. Only I can be the Luna of this pack and Zephyr's woman, only me and there is no way I was going to allow a dirty packless wolf take that away from me. I slowly began to calm down. I faced my mirror, a small smile graced my face as I began combing through my hair with my fingers. All I needed to do was get everyone in the pack to help me remove the spell that she put on him. If everyone is against it there is no way he would still be under her spell. “You've got this Celeste, everyone will side with you.” I fixed my hair and dress before going out. “Ro
ZEPHYR'S POV“Alpha that woman is a danger to all of us!” Celeste yelled. The other members nodded their heads in agreement.“She really is! Why are you keeping her here?” Someone yelled from the crowd.“Who knows what else she will do to us?” “This is the Alpha's business.” Ronan said, trying to calm them down. “The Alpha's business? This includes the whole pack. Everyone was affected by the howl that rogue let out.” Celeste argued. “We cannot keep her here, she needs to be killed before she kills all of us.”“Celeste!” Ronan growled. “What? Did I say anything wrong? Some of our pack members are in a coma because of that howl. We do not know if they will wake up or not! Alpha this is about the safety of your pack members!” She clapped back.Multiple voices erupted in agreement with her. I watched them in silence. Morrigan's howl had affected everyone in the pack except me. Was it because I was her mate? She was much more powerful than I thought, could I keep her here? I didn't

MORRIGAN'S POV “What's wrong?” Zephyr asked, looking me up and down. “Nothing.” I replied, running a hand through my hair. He got off the chair and walked over to where I was standing. My heart began pounding, the closer he got the faster it pounded. He stopped in front of me. “So you won't tell me?” I could smell his breath as it hit my face. I could feel goosebumps forming on my skin. Heat spread all over my body and I just wanted to pull him closer, but I knew better. I moved back, putting some distance between. “How can I tell you something, when there is nothing to tell?” He quirked a brow. “The fact that you're replying to me s…” “Just stop.” I cut him off. I didn't want to keep being in the same room as him, I didn't want to do something I would end up regretting. “Why do you do this to yourself? To us.” He asked, frustration evident In his voice. “Zephyr, I told you from the beginning how I felt. I don't want to be here but you keep me here against my will.”
MORRIGAN'S POV:“For goodness sake stop following me,” I groaned. “I am not going anywhere.” She nodded her head but still continued to follow me. I let out a frustrated sigh and continued walking trying my best to ignore her. It had been two months and four days since I got here. I did not think I was going to be stuck here for so long. I wanted to escape, I desperately wanted to but I was afraid. Zephyr gave me a warning and I took it seriously, I didn't want to push him. What if I tried and I failed to escape?
