Mary Dallas woke up earlier than usual. For the past three years, she had been working as a personal assistant to one of the richest men in Chicago, and she had never thought money would be an issue to her.

She got paid much more than other secretaries, and she was okay. She could afford all the designer clothes, shoes, and handbags.

She could change her hairstyles as she pleased because she didn’t have much to worry about saving for her impulsive needs.

A month ago, she had gotten to the office to find a notice letter on her desk.

“What the fuck is this?” she asked herself aloud as she looked at it with a glare and confusion.
