Craig showed up early enough to Elena’s house the next day, even getting out of his car and knocking on the door to pick her up.

“You’re Craig right? She’s still dressing up inside, I hope you don’t mind?” Elena’s mum opened the door to answer him, leading him towards the sitting room before going upstairs.

He smiled at her and shook his head, rubbing his hand nervously against one another as he waited for her to climb down. After some minutes, she walked down, their eyes clashing before she halted in her steps.

“What are you doing here?” She questioned.
