Chapter Hundred and Eight

Elena hurried downstairs at the sound of the horn of Craig's car. She wasn't ready for another interview of Craig by her mother and she guess Craig wasn't also seeing as he didn't bother to come inside the house.

He must have learnt his lesson that last time. She quickly grabbed her bag and a bottle of juice from the fridge before pecking her mom on the cheek.

"Why is he... "

"Bye mom," Elena said and rushed outside. She knew her mom wanted to ask why Craig was pressing the horn and wasn't coming inside as he did the last time.

"Hey... Good morning," Craig said to her and leaned forward to kiss her on her lips.

"Good morning," She answered, smiling back at him.

"You look tired. Had too much fun last night that you couldn't rest?" Craig asked as he drove out of her driveway.

Elena sighed inwardly. She should have known that Craig wouldn't let something like this go easily. He was going to quiz her about how she spent her day and she really wasn't ready for that type of conversation yet
