I opened my eyes to find myself lying on a bed. The room was not familiar. I remember the last thing that happened to me before I passed out. I was in the pack house with my mates. Oh shit, my mates. I looked around the room to find Damon half asleep on a chair. He was wearing different cloth from what I had seen him with. Wait, how many days have I been gone? Damon sprang up as I moved my body. "Are you okay? What happened to you?" He asked, worry written all over his face. His voice was loud enough to attract people and immediately my parents ran into the room where Kian, Ezra, Emma, and Alpha Fridolf followed them. My mom hugged me while looking at me with concern. "What happened to you? You fainted and have been asleep for three days". My father asked with relief. "The pack doctors told us you were alive and that we had to wait for you to wake up".
"I am fine, guys", I said looking at them. "Mia, you met the moon goddess?" My mom asked looking at my arm. I felt my eyes change color as I looked down at my arm. A beautiful tattoo was spreading on my bicep. Everyone watched as it stopped a few inches above my elbow. "Yes, I met her". I said.
"What did she say?" My dad asked. "You can tell them but don't tell them about me". Bri whispered even when she knew I was the only one who could hear her. Ezra sat next to me and held me like I was going to run away as I told them about my visit to the moon Goddess
"Well, she told me about how I was chosen to save the pack from this illness and about a war that is coming in which I must help our packs and also about our powers". I said looking at my mates. I could see a wave of relief flash across Alpha Fridolfs face. "Surely, the moon goddess doesn't leave her children". He said as everyone in the room nodded.
"I was coming to introduce you to my mates before I passed out, but I guess you guys have already met". I said laughing. "You freaked us out," Kian said. "When I heard you passed out, I came in here to see you surrounded by three men, I almost beat them up before they explained the whole situation to me and I calmed down". My father said laughing.
"I have to arrange the packed house for you guys to move in. I will see you later". Alpha Fridolf said as he left the room. "I have to go home and freshen up. I will see you later babe", Damon kissed my cheek and left the room, part of me wanted to run after him and remain in his arms. Ezra and Kian kissed me goodbye and left too. They had pack issues to deal with. My father stayed behind at the pack house as I picked up my bag and left with Emma and my mother.
On our way home I could see Emma was dying to ask me a lot of questions but she did not want my mother to hear her. The journey home was short as some people who had recognized my tattoo smiled at me or gave me an approving nod. My life had taken a sharp turn. From being a normal girl who worked at a cafe to becoming the Luna mated to three Alphas. We got home and my mom hurried to the kitchen to prepare something as she was worried that I have taken nothing for three days. I and Emma hurried up to my room. I could see how impatient she was in getting her answers.
"I leave you for a second and all these things happen", exclaimed Emma as we got to my room. I burst out laughing at the expression on her face. "I thought you left me because you found your mate". I said as her expression turned sad. "No, I saw an old friend who I met when I visited solar pack so I just walked over to say hello. When I came back I couldn't find you. I searched for you for a very long time before I decided to go inside the pack house to ask your, father if he had seen you. That was when I saw you lying on the bed. I vowed not to forgive myself for leaving you if you never woke up ." She said with tears in her eyes. I went over to hug her as I wiped her tears. "Nothing will ever happen to me. Don't worry". I told her.
I told her everything about how I met my three mates and my visit to the moon goddess as we are the food that my mother brought up to my room. As we ate, I noticed Bri was restless in my head, she wanted to take over. I tried calming her.
Emma noticed my uneasiness. "Are you okay?" she asked. "I think my wolf wants to shift," I said. "Come on," she said as she dragged me out of the house, and within minutes of walking, we were heading into the woods.
Emma pulled off her clothes and hung them on a tree as she shifted into her wolf. Her wolf was a brown-colored one with piercing green eyes. I took off my clothes and let Bri take over as I shifted to a snow-white wolf with deep blue eyes. As Bri lay down on the soft grass and rolled around, I felt a sudden wave of calmness rush over me. We spent time in the wood running around and inhaling the sweet air of nature. When I was sure Bri was satisfied, we headed back to the tree for our clothes and shifted back to our human form
As we headed back to the pack, a little girl ran to us crying. "What is it dear?" Emma asked, confused. "Please Luna come and heal my mother, she has been down with the illness for some time now but today she got worse and can't even speak". She said amidst tears. "Let's go," I said. We both follow the girl as she leads us to her house. We get to the house to find the girl's mother on the bed while her father wipes her body. He steps away as he sees us and I walk up to the woman. "I don't know what to do". I say to Bri confused. Place your hand on her chest Bri replies. I place my hand on her and suddenly a blue light radiates all over the woman's body as my tattoo shone. I feel current leaving my body as the light goes from the woman's head down to her legs and then goes off.
I stared ahead at the empty seats of the cafe that used to be filled with fun and buzzing people as I waited for my co-worker to come and take over as my shift had already ended.I quietly packed my bag while glancing over at the woman at the far end of the cafe. She had been the only one in the cafe. I compiled my check for the day as I would be heading over to my boss's house to submit them.As I waited, Damien strode in wearing a long face which was so unlike him as the customers loved him because he was always cheerful and carried an aura of happiness around."Oh, there you are", I said as he approached the counter. He looked at me, I could sense something was not right. "Are you okay?" I asked him again, this time coming closer to take a closer look at his face. "I can help you cover your shift if you are not feeling okay". I didn't mind covering up his shift, because he had done so for me a couple of times."We need to close up. Our boss died this morning. I am just coming from
"Hello Mummy, Hello Daddy," I greeted them as I walked into the house. "Welcome baby", my mother said as my father just gave me an approving nod. I sat down on one of the large sofas near the table. " We lost my boss this evening", I said looking at my father who was no longer looking at the paper but was peering into space. "We keep losing more and more important members of our pack", my mother said. "If care is not taken, our pack would be wiped off in the space of a week. Hopefully, this would save our pack". My father said, "What I asked?""We got some information today, we found out that this illness is being sent by the alpha of the Darkmoon pack. He really would go to any length to get power into his hands. The illness is not contagious so we don't know who else can get it." My dad added sadly, "I hope this works", my mom said looking at the paper. That was the paper they were looking at before I came in, so I just took it and glanced through it.The Alpha of my pack was alway
Emma and I had been best friends for as long as I could remember. We were treated as sisters by everyone and practically lived in each other's houses. She was raised by her uncle as her parents had died in a pack war shortly after she was born. We had spent the majority of our lives together, as my parents treated her like their own child. We stepped outside the house and turned to the road leading to the pack house. There were fewer people on the street as many people had already headed to the pack house. I had a lot of things I wanted to tell Emma. I wanted to tell her about Bri, but I had already promised not to say anything about it. Emma had been able to shift into her wolf since she turned 18 but had never mentioned anything about talking to her wolf. Why was mine different? You will find out soon. The voice in my head said. Oh shit, I had completely forgotten again that bri could hear my thoughts."Are you okay?" Emma asked, looking at me with a worried expression on her face.
As he came up to us, I got a closer look at him. He had tanned skin that radiated under the sun and he moved so gracefully like royalty. His eyes were deep amber and he had a perfect body. I sighed, what was worse than having three hot men as mates? He stopped right in front of me and took my hand. I felt sparks inside of me as I made contact with him. My stomach suddenly developed butterflies as I felt a tinge of sensation as his hands held mine. "Hey baby, I am Damon, Alpha of Midnight Pack", he said while searching my face. Shit…another alpha. "Mia", I muttered. He nodded his head and looked towards my other mate, "I guess we are all sharing one mate". They laughed. You guys were heading to the pack house? Damon asked. "Oh yes, I wanted you guys to meet my father". "Alright then let's go", Damon said as Ezra took my hand we headed to the pack house and the sparks returned. My life had taken a fast turn within the space of one hour. I had gone from a single girl who was not intere
