Lonely Alphaess on the Silverine Throne

The night sky is astonishingly dark, since it's a total moon eclipse. The moon was red even a while ago, like it was celebrating the ceremony of the new Blood Moon lead Alphaess.
Nyx turns around hearing the sound of the door opening, only to see the advisor president wolf of the pack. Surprisingly she's annoying enough, even Nyx was losing her careful stored patience earlier in the ceremony. Advisor wolf kept nagging, saying how a she-wolf without her mate shouldn't sit on the Silverine throne, also kept blabbering about the rituals.
Nyx just tried to be numb in those moment.
Even she feels her desperate need for a mate in her heart, but she's forcing the brain to reject that feeling. She doesn't think that she's in a position to put her trust in someone that badly, yet.
"Here you are, lead Alphaess," Advisor Jenna exclaims, clearly putting on a fake smile. "Since it's such a charming night, you shouldn't waste it sitting alone, how about going on a hunt with other fellas?"
"No thanks, I'm not feeling like it," Nyx answers bluntly, hunting is the least thing possible she'd want to do now.
Her smile widens for some reason, apparently she's holding something in her hand, probably a letter. But Nyx pays that no attention and continues to look out of the window nonchalantly.
"You're familiar with the name Alpha Lorenzo, I assume?" Jenna takes a seat hastily, a feet away from her.
Nyx gets a bit surprised, her expression changes.
Advisor wolf grins harder, like she's enjoying this. She holds up a sealed letter, swinging it slowly, "One of our ravon delivered this today. Apparently it has no information of who's the sender, but the Crescent moon pack mark is giving it out, right, Alphaess?"
Nyx says nothing and stands up, taking the letter from her hand. Her cheeks reddens a bit unknowingly seeing the red seal containing pigeon wings, which indicates love and peace. She already declined her marriage proposal with Alpha Charles, so it definitely won't be from him. So the letter only can be sent from one person from the Crescent Moon pack. As she opens up the scented parchment, her heart stars beating loudly for some reason.
"Alphaess Nyx Vincent,
Firstly, I must congratulate you for being the lead Alphaess of the Blood Moon pack, apparently you did it.
Everything happened so quickly, thus I feel like I still haven't processed everything completely. If I speak of the situation of our Crescent Moon pack here, I'd say my brother Charles took your rejection pretty well. Nonetheless, our Advisor committee seems to be concerned, regarding Blood Moon and Crescent Moon pack aren't exactly friends, they're also eager to see what would the new lead Alphaess do.
This isn't anything like politically official letter, it's completely personal. I'm not even sure if you'd get your hands on it, since you must be busy with your work. But my mind has been a mess since we last saw each other, still I'm unsure to speak of my feelings to you this straightforwardly.

Clouds of sadness and appreciation embrace her heart, leaving her wondering if they'll see each other again. Even though she once recklessly visited his pack and made an inappropriate proposal to him, surely it wasn't her best decision. She feels bad for him, she must've given him hope for something, knowingly or unknowingly, but she can't seem to completely deny her feelings.
"Alphaess? You seem gloomy, is something the matter?" Advisor Jenna exclaims, showing off her worry.
"No, it's nothing," Nyx puts back her nonchalant face and swiftly folds the letter in her hand.

Maria enters the room and bows politely, then announces that the Alphaess's presence is needed at the meeting hall.
A few maids helps Nyx dress up and decorates her in traditional clothes and ornaments, though they're a bit uncomfortable.
"Any traces of father?" Nyx asks Maria.
"No, Alphaess," Maria shakes her head.
The meeting building is established following the modern techniques, which gives off an amazing and prestigious aura. Nyx walks boldly with her head straight ahead, avoiding the stares, but deep down she feels nervous. She's still young and needs space to grow, but she doesn't feel like she can trust anyone in this madness.
She gets a bit surprised seeing Sonic in the meeting hall, clearly she didn't expect it. He's the leader of the wolves who escapes from the pack, commonly known as Deserters. Sonic helped Nyx a lot gathering allies and equipments, to perform the ritual to the Silverine throne.
Everyone present in the hall bows to her, showing their respect and gratitude. It kind of overwhelmes her, but she handles it quickly and bows back with a slight smile.
"Let us begin the meeting," Advisor Quen stands up, wearing a stern look in his face. "Today is our first meeting with the new Alphaess, Nyx Vincent. As we already welcomed her with the ceremony, we may now continue to the main meeting, discussing about the important topics of our pack."
Nyx takes a deep breath, starting her first day as the ruler of the pack.
