Don't you Slave?. He whispered harshly almost maliciously walking slowly towards the slave. Tension could be sensed as the pack waited earnestly and in anticipation to what would be done to the slave, anticipating whether one of them would be called upon to
discipline the slave to prove their worth to their alpha, to receive favor in the eyes of their leader. However the alpha had other ideas it seems as he beckoned over the Beta, a position second only to the Alpha."Bring to me the The whip". The Alpha whispered again.
The pin drop silence that once existed was ruptured by whimpers from the slaves. None of them have been unfortunate enough to having the feared "THORNED WHIP" against their skin but the rumors of how deadly the whip was had them in whimpers.
One whimper was particularly louder than the others, this one came from the slave boy who had the misfortune of spilling a minuscule almost invisible bit of the Alpha's coffee-but who could argue with the Alpha-as it dawned on him that this could have been him if
The Slave had not stepped in to protect him from the wrath of the Alpha. The harsh sound of the a whip that should not even be used on animals talk less of an human soon cut his thoughts short as it hits human skin. The female slaves were forced to look away
from the gruesome sight as the thorns crafted so meticulously on the whip tore away skin and hints at the bone lying underneath.Still no sound was heard from The Slave. the whimpers that rose with every hit of the whip on the skin of the slave continued as the
crowd counted sixty three strikes. The difference in the crowd was noticeable, some had smiles on their faces and the others had tears rolling down their faces. The Slave looked around in anguish at the smiling faces as he wondered what changed the people he once referred to as family, trying so hardly to understand exactly what caused the hatred that they seemed to carry towards he and his people.
He looked around the crying faces as they seemed to blur out.as his own eyes filled with tears. a single tear rolled down his face much to the Alpha's awe and anger. Sixty-three strokes of the feared Thorn whip was unable to break him but the tears on the faces was enough to make him cry.
A smile soon appeared on The Alpha's face as a thought suddenly occurred to him. He cleared his throat loudly to silence the whimpers in the room and return the room to the pin drop silence that could only be caused by his voice
"AS your alpha, i hereby banish you to lay your head to rest on the ground every night on the floor of the goddess's waters".
The silence that followed was deafening. The only sound to be heard was the sound of a Slave woman falling presumably to her death.

The story of the Goddess waters dates back to a long time ago. Legend has it that the moon goddess, mother and creator of the werewolf race grew up to be of age. She had gotten to the age where she was to be given a mate, a companion that would rule with her and cherish her forever. She had dreamt of this for so long having still being a young child when she was crowned the goddess of the moon. She desperately prayed for a partner someone that would love her forever .The process of getting a mate was supervised by a gathering of the most powerful immortal beings known as the Council of the Mytics. The council guides and rule over all immortal beings. They had the power to destroy anyone and anything if they so wish, they were known to be fair in their dealings.
Every immortal when they come to agehad a soulmate, a being that their soul was linked to. However the council ruled against it and ordered every mateship be broghtto them for approval. Every mateship that was not approved of by them was either broken or cursed forever. A lot of beings were lost to this method because it is a very risky one, it takes a very strong being to live through the pain and those that have were scarred for life.
The new process that was ordered proclaimed thatwhenever an immortal being or entity is of age and requires or so desires a mate, they are gathered together by the council and are mated to the partners that was mst suitable to them and then the council ties thier together and any union or mateship formed without the council’s blessings was usually shamed upon by other beings.
On the assigned day for the mateship, Selene got there and patiently waited for the council. She stepped for aminute and on her way back collided with someone. The instant their bodies touched, they knew. They felt their soul intertwining with each other and they knew they were mates . Joyfully they went in together and waited on the councl to approve of their mateship. The council eventually arrived and soon the ceremony began.
They assigned everyone to their respective mates and when it got to selene’s turn, their mateship was disapproved and broken. The reason they gave was that she was such a powerful goddess and her mate was a lowly fae. She didn’t care and she tried desperately to let them know, they however refused to listen to her and they broke the bond. The pain of shattered bond was to much for a fae and it instantly killed her mate. She left there with so much pain in her heart and in her hurt she created he first werewolf and his mate. The council were very cross with her and they decided that her punishment was that she would never be mated.
Every year, she comes down to heart to mourn her lost mate at the sacred waters. Her anger was so powerful that it upsets the balance of good and evil for the whole while she was angry giving demons access to the mortal word. Therefore an mortal that set his/her foot thre in this period always ends up dead.
The Alpha had just ordered his death. His ears were ringing, that had to be it, he couldn't have heard correctly. The goddess waters was commonly referred to as Troubled waters at this time of the year. The anger of the goddess was known to be at its highest at this time of the year. For the first time in the two years that he had become a slave,he looked his supposed Alpha in the eye. He tried so hard to find the man that he once used to see as his best friend but it seemed he had evaporated into thin air. No mortal man was allowed to barely be five meters in the parameters that surrounds the Troubled waters. it was no news that the anger of the goddess births demons that could and would drive a man mad , to ask any mortal man to be even in the surroundings of the waters was sending the fellow on a suicide mission. The Alpha smile could not get any wider as he dismissed everyone. Even after everyone had left, he didn't stop smiling. Now he could rest, his plan was all coming together. He was very sure The slave wou
HE suddenly felt pairs of hands on him holding him down. He realized he had been thrashing about on his bed spaces. He looked up to find his roommates looking at him with eyes of pity, not one of them could relate to the pain he was feeling but they were desperately to do the best they could to help him. The somber atmosphere was disrupted by sharp intrusive noises. HE could hear them now. The guards were on their patrols and were here to make sure the alpha's order were duly followed. They were banging so hard on the door, like they wanted to break it down. Their fists fueled by the hatred rooted in their soul. Still clutching his stomach, he stumbled to the door before they decided to unleash their fury on the other occupants in the room. When he got to the door, he turned back to look at the faces of the other occupants of the room, men who were once held in reverence , who were known to be mighty men in valor now slaves to be kept tightly under the fists of boys they trained. He woke up to darkness; it was already dawn. There was no sight of the beast anywhere and no noise. The only sound that could be heard was the rushing of the water as it moved almost violently back and forth from the shore. He couldn't decide if the silence was scarier than the chaos he had witnessed here. He stood up, turned around, and there it was.Crouched a few feet away from him was a large wolf, almost larger than him, an Alpha wolf. It was a female, that much he could smell. She had shining black fur, so black that she almost blended in with the night. The only thing that didn’t blend in were her eyes, a moon-shaped symbol in the center of her eyes and a streak that ran a straight line on her coat across her back from her head down to the tip of her tail. She had pitch-white, bottomless eyes. The symbol on her head was gold with a white outline, with the same color and outline on her back and her tail. The tip of her tail, however, was the same pitch black as her coat. She was
He walked slowly back to the pack house. He couldn't wrap his mind around it, how could he define what had happened in the space of the precious night and this morning, a test of faith maybe?. If that was true, does that mean that he passed or would he just pass away in his sleep or just lose his mind later in the day. After everything that had happened he wouldn't put it past the so called benevolent moon goddess. He winced at the direction his thoughts had just taken. His mother was probably turning in her grave as we speak, to hear her son so much as think about the goddess she had placed so highly. But he couldn't help it, the moon goddess had been nothing but a giant pain in his rear end in the past years. He couldn't help but smile in melancholy at the fact that he couldn't even call his rear end what would and could be classified as a curse word in the same thought as anything related to the moon goddess. His mother and the women that raised him had drilled respect for the mo

I’ve been sleeping at the Troubled Waters for about 2 weeks now, and she just shows up every day to curl up beside me. I swear I’ve never felt so much at peace in my life. “I can’t take it anymore, Paul. We need to do something. I can’t stand looking at him anymore. I hate him so much. Oh, goddess, I just want to step all over his cursed face,” I whispered to Paul, pacing across my office with rage.“Have patience, My Lord; we’ll figure out something. We always do,” Paul replied, trying to calm me.“It’s been six months, Paul, six whole months. Six months filled with nights of praying that he is killed off in the Troubled Waters just like every other goddamned mortal that ever goes there, and mornings seeing him walk back to the pack with that cursed smile on his face. I can’t take it anymore. It feels like I might go mad if I continue to see his face,” I ranted exasperatedly, pulling at my hair. I imagined how I must look like to him now, and suddenly I couldn’t bear to see his face anymore.“You may leave now, Paul; you’re dismissed,” I ordered, waving him away. I watched his back until he got out of the room, shutting the door behind him.#My eyes w
Alpha James's P.o.vJames’s patience was wearing thin with each step he took into the dense forest. The stupid twisting forest with its tall and dead trees only irritated him further. The path he was on was narrow with thorns and shrubs that kept on snagging his clothes and scraping his skin. He muttered a curse and shoved them aside with force, his brows furrowing as he stomped angrily through the forest.“I’m an Alpha for crying out loud,” he muttered under his breath holding a glare at the path in front of him. “And yet here I am stumbling and cutting through this godforsaken forest for a witch.” He had left his guards and carriage behind at her last warning . A decision he as now regretting. Yet, he felt more like a lone fool than the Alpha he’d fought so hard to become. He angrily cut through the last thicket and there it was. A small, rickety house. The cottage was surrounded by dark ivy, a sagging roof and windows that peered back at him like eyes in the shadows. It looked nothi
