Chapter 73

Chance’s POV

Willow and I were almost done eating when Luna Rayne walked into the kitchen looking for Willow. It seems that the she wolves of the rogue pack were wanting to see Willow and she was happy to visit them. I placed a soft kiss on her lips and told her not to overdo it, before her and Luna Rayne disappeared from the kitchen.

Now that Willow was occupied, I wanted to have my word with Damon alone. Rushing out of the kitchen, I head up to the room that I knew he is being kept in. When I make my way down the hallway, I see that Alpha Hunter has men appointed to watch him standing by his door. When I get to the door the men step aside and I open the door and walk in. Damon was sitting up in the bed and he looked much better than the last time I saw him.

“I see you are looking much better.” I said to him as I moved to stand at the foot of the bed.

“I am doing much better, but I don’t think you came here to check on my health.” Damon said back to me and I knew he wasn’t sl
