ROSS'S POV:

ONE YEAR AND A FEW MONTHS LATER…

Today was currently Thanksgiving and while most people were preparing a huge celebration with family, I wasn't.

“Where are you going?”

I ignored that and continued packing my suits in my suitcase as it was currently 7pm and I had a flight to catch earlier the next day.

“Ross, aren't you hearing me?” She questioned again and I sighed deeply bringing out my various luxurious wristwatches and packed about three, a classic Rolex watch, Patek and a custom designed watch personally sent to me for the front page of a magazine a few years back.

“Ross!” She snapped yelling and I turned towards her clenching my jaw.

“What?!” Her eyes went wide as she stared at me and she stepped back looking at me with disbelief.

“O My Goodness…Wh..what happened..what's going on with you?” NINA stammered out covering her mouth staring at me intently from head to toe.

I still ignored her.

“I'm going to get the boys. Because for about ten months no one has been able t

I just assumed you would send a representative as the journey is too long, I think it's about a fifteen hour journey. That's like across the continent.” Grandpa pointed out trying to derail him from going.Ross sighed deeply as he thought about it, “I know Grandpa, I don't want to go either but I feel like I need the change of scenery plus successful business men and women from all over the country would be there. And I need…I need to stop acting like my wife died when in honesty, I was the on

I quickly did a sign for her to hush as my kids were laying beside me after falling asleep watching a show. “Aw…see my babies.” She whispered, walking closer to the bed. She had just arrived back from her two days of Thanksgiving celebration with her family. My kids and I were obviously invited but I was drained and just decided that preparing a meal and watching TV shows my babies liked would be preferable.“Don't you dare accidentally wake them up. You know how cranky Eleanour gets when you wake her from her beauty nap.” I got up slowly and placed a pillow behind their back before exiting out of the room. Evelyn giggled as she followed me out.“So yeah…answer my question and who are you looking all sexy for?” She eyes me from head to toe and I playfully rolled my eyes in a full circle at her before

My flight was leaving later tonight but if I decided to, I could just leave anytime I wanted but I know I had to be back in order to get my work and presence back on track.I stepped out of the bathroom feeling refreshed. I used a towel to clean my face then I heard my phone ringing. I hissed sharply when I checked and saw the caller ID.“Hello.”“Why am I just finding out you traveled to another country?” I remained silent after her question and tossed my phone on the bed placing it on a loud speaker while I picked out an outfit. I had not packed anything casual, so I had gotten a few at a boutique.“And you didn't even call and YOU totally ignored me during Thanksgiving. Why are you treating your mother this way?” She asked bitterly and I was beginning to feel bad.I just

I just saw you from afar and was shocked.” He apologized as I stood up in fear.Standing right in front of me was the handsome CEO of Lords Gaming Company, James Lauder, whom I hadn't seen in a while. We had only seen each other a few times after we closed the deal. For a moment, I was thrown off by how great he looked, especially because this was the first time I had seen him in a suit, it fit him perfectly. I was also baffled to see him here around this time of the evening. Anyway, everyone in the whole city often came here as it was the heart of the town.“It's fine.” I cleared my throat and heaved out a breath of relief then went ahead to sit back. “May I sit next to you?” He inquired in a gentlemanly way and I glanced at him, humming in response.I shifted my black purse closer to me so as to give him space to sit. He took a seat and I caught a whiff of his strong masculine cologne that smells so familiar.I had expected hi

TERRA'S POV:THREE MONTHS LATER:“How busy are you? ‘Cause I was thinking we can go out for lunch so I can make it up to you.” Ross suggested, and I rolled my eyes playfully at him. He knew I was mad at him for him being mad at me for worrying too much and stressing out about the kids as it was their first day at a new school. It had just been hard since the welcome party and literally settling in Salandi was hard for me in a way that it was hard for the kids.“I'm actually extremely busy right now, and I will be heading to Nina's trial as today is the sentencing. Later tonight?” I suggested and he heaved out a sigh, obviously displeased at the fact that I was headed to Nina's trial but I needed to be there. I just had the need. 3RD POV:AN HOUR LATER:Asian was drained and tired but she took great compassion on the twins especially Eleanour, seeing her as a young version of Amber who was sad and always needed her. TERRA'S POV:A DAY LATER:It had been more than 35 hours since I had last seen my kids and since the kidnapping. A flier with Nina's face had been posted everywhere and according to my friends and Fiona, the entire police force was working on it.But it was just Nina….what was so hard about finding and capturing her?I had just been numb, and I could neither eat nor sleep. Last night, when I couldn't sleep, I snuck out in my own mansion in order to prevent Evelyn, who was literally everywhere, from waking up. I drove in one of my old sports cars, which allowed the cool night breeze to run through my body and blow away the tears which kept flowing and I drove to weird looking areas, banishing the thought that I might be robbed, and showed them images of Nina if they had come across her but they had nothing.A particularly shabby looking man asked for some money before providing answers, feigning that he recognised her and as soon as I handed him money, he tucked it into his pocket and
