ASHER’S POV

Lisa Bonnet.

I found myself sitting beside a dream, lost in the tranquility of the moment. The soft rays of the early morning sunlight cast themselves ever so gently across Lisa’s peacefully sleeping face, illuminating her features with a warm glow.

Lisa has been fluctuating between consciousness and unconsciousness for the past few hours, ever since I rescued her from my brother’s captivity. The doctor has assured me that she is not in any danger and merely needs time to rest and regain her strength.

I sighed, a sigh of relief, a sigh that carried away the storm within me. My heart was brimming with a peace I never knew her presence could invoke. This beautiful girl, so human in her ways, has undeniably stirred the depths of my thoughts and reality ever since she came.

I could barely believe it as I dreamily stared at the shape of her irresistible face, hanging open as she snorted and mumbled incoherent words in her sleep.

She looked so serene, it was hard to believe t

ASHER’S POVWith my head angled to the side, I continued to watch Lisa. Her chest rose and fell in a rhythmic pattern. A soft sigh escaped her lips. She stirred slightly, her eyelashes fluttered against her cheeks, but she didn’t wake. Instead, her lips moved, forming incoherent words that were swallowed by the silence of the room.A soft chuckle rumbled in my chest at the familiar sight. This was a habit that reminded me so much of Kiara, who also had a tendency to talk in her sleep. It was one of the things I found endearing about her, providing a secret window into her thoughts and dreams. It was through these midnight confessions that I learned to love all her imperfections and flaws, embracing them as my own.As I got lost in her features, I found my mind drifting back to the first time we met. I was out for a run in the night. My wolf had been restless through out that day and I knew it wanted to be set free to roam so I did.Out in the night, embracing my wolf form, feeling the

JONAS POVI stormed back to my room, seething with raw rage. The air crackled with tension, and I could feel the weight of Asher’s suspicions bearing down on me. Asher, my brother, had always been impulsive, but this time he’d crossed a line. I was certain he was lying about Lisa’s whereabouts.I could even bet my life that he was keeping her locked away in his room. Her scent clung to him like perfume, a tantalizing mix of wildflowers and secrets. The presence of the guard says it all. However, it wasn’t merely Lisa’s whereabouts that troubled me. I found myself pondering whether Asher had uncovered her true identity - that she was Kiara, the girl who had disappeared without a trace, leaving behind a path strewn with mystery and sorrow.Yet, Asher maintained an infuriating calm. If he were privy to Lisa’s secret, he would be anything but composed. No, he was concealing something else—something that ignited a fury within me. I had to locate Lisa, to erase her memory as swiftly as poss

ASHER’S POVThe unexpected sight of the witch, Tacha, sent a jolt of surprise through me. Her ageless beauty, as haunting as a moonlit night, was still intact. Her eyes, twin pools of otherworldly luminescence, bore into mine, and I wondered how many souls had been ensnared by their hypnotic gaze. But, thankfully, she wasn’t the flame that attracted my moth. Tacha was a venomous viper disguised as a harmless dove, and only a fool would mistake her for anything less than what she truly is - a witch.“Why are you here, Tacha?” I asked, my voice echoing through the silent expanse of my house. The air thickened with ancient magic as she stepped closer, her eyes resembling twin pools of obsidian. She feigned shock, dramatically placing her hand over her heart, before chiding me for my lack of hospitality. “Is that how you greet an old friend?”A chuckle escaped my lips as I retorted, “Tacha, you’re no friend of mine. State your business or leave.”Tacha nodded, her lips curving into a sa

LISA’S POVI awoke abruptly, my eyelids fluttering open to reveal the stark white ceiling above me. The dream I had just been immersed in was so vivid and tangible that it took me a moment to anchor myself back in reality.I had dreamt of being bound and left for dead, only to be rescued by Alpha Asher. The memory of his strong arms enveloping me and his voice whispering reassurances in my ear felt so real that I could almost believe it had actually happened. As I lay there, the reality of my situation began to dawn on me. I wasn’t in Jonas’s room but in Asher’s. The warm glow that seem to be familiar with his room was present. His scent, a comforting reminder of his presence, lingered in the air.I was also in his bed, the sheets soft against my skin, unlike the cold, hard floor that Jonas had forced me to sleep on.“Jonas!” I gasped. Fear began to creep in as I thought about him. Was he back and looking for me? What would he do if he found me here, in Asher’s room? The thought of fa

I was on the verge of savoring a sip of the tea, its steam twirling in the air, when the door creaked open.Silas, a figure of quiet strength, walked in. His eyes, a stormy sea of emotions, widened when he saw me standing there. His gaze moved briefly between Scarlett and me. He hurried to my side in a matter of seconds. His voice, laced with concern, broke the silence, “How are you feeling now that you’re awake?”I responded, my voice barely above a whisper, “I’m fine,” even though I still felt a bit weak. Silas, his gentleness contradict his rugged exterior, took the teacup from my hand. He set it aside, the ceramic surface clinking against the wooden table, and guided me back to the bed, his hand firm on my arm.“You need to rest,” he said, his tone leaving no room for argument. “But I–” I want to protest, but Silas cut me off, “It’s Alpha Asher’s instruction.”I nodded, my head f
