Brian came back in no time with a glass of red wine. He took a seat opposite Vanessa, took a sip of his drink before turning his attention to her. She was looking at him with curiosity.
"I'll go straight to the point." Vee nodded, encouraging him to say all that was in his mind.
Brian shrugged. Then after a few seconds of silence, he spoke."I honestly don't know. I haven't been myself lately either. My brains were clouded with thoughts of you in the past few days. The only time I didn't think about you was when I buried myself with work. With this evening's event, I couldn't take it anymore. It was as if I was going to go crazy if I didn't take any actions. I had no idea you were going to come with me and even when I told you to hop into the car, I had no idea where I would be taking you but I'm glad as to how everything turned out. I think it's your presence that has made me sane and calm. Also, I feel relieved aring my thoughts and
Before Vanessa could think of what to say next, she felt his warm soft lips on hers which sparked some excitement in her stomach. It took Vee a few seconds to respond to his kiss. She gave him access and their lips moved in sync as they savoured the taste of each other's mouth. The kiss was gentle, passionate and filled with need. It kept the duo wanting more. They reluctantly pulled away when they were out of breath.
Brian had no idea what came over him. It was probably because of the desire he saw in Vee's eyes. Before he knew it, he was already on top of her, resting his weight on his forearms that were on either side of her face. "You effortlessly make me go crazy, Vanessa. Holding myself back from making love to you is one of the hardest things I'll ever do. You're just so beautiful." He whispered.
Once Vanessa was done with her coffee, She went for a shower and changed into the official dress Brian got her. A beautiful grey dress that stopped right above her knee. She also put her hair in a low ponytail. Stepping into the room she came face to face with a new pair of black flats that were beside the bed. She had no doubt Brian got them for her. She slipped her feet into them, picked up the backpack that Brian gave her. It contained the dress and heels she wore yesterday and then exited the room.
Henry couldn't remember when last he was this cranky or if he had ever been. Everyone actually noticed that he wasn't in a good mood today. He used to be very happy and cheerful but was feeling the total opposite since last night.Henry returned home at almost midnight yesterday. He hardly had any sleep and ended up tossing around the bed. The thought of Vanessa spendin
Henry Matthews didn't know his head was bleeding until he got to the car and Jake brought his attention to it. Henry's day wasn't over yet because he still had some afternoon/evening shoot to do so he couldn't go to his family's hospital to get checked as it was far and neither could he go the shoot with a bleeding head. Jake, his assistant, recommended a nearby clinic where Henry's cut on the back of his head was cleaned and treated. They had to scrape the hair where the injury was before cleaning and treating. He was also given pain killers because his head was starting to hurt.
Coming out of the servant quarters, Henry went straight into the mansion. As he got closer to the main living room downstairs, he heard his parents and sister's laughter but he couldn't care less about the reason for their celebration or chatter. He just wanted to go to his room, drink himself to bed and take a 24-hour nap to clear his head. But there was a problem. There was no way Henry would get to the staircase that led to his suite unless he passed by the main living room. The last thing he wanted for his parents to pull him into any conversation. He was clearly not in the mood for that and he hoped they would understand.
Two days later.Vanessa woke up feeling uninspired to do anything, just like how she has been since Henry dashed out of her room. After randomly thinking about different things for a few minutes, She reluctantly got up from her bed and proceeded to do her morning rituals. By the time Vee was all dressed up and ready for work, it was almost 7 am. She stepped out of her r
Stepping into the room, her eyes began to water as she stopped in her tracks. The main living room was beautifully decorated with round and heart-shaped balloons in different shades of pink and white. There were matching rose petals and scented candles on the floor, framed pictures of Vee and Brian in their cosy moments were put in different places in the living room.V

In thirty minutes, Brian got home. He sat back in the car, thinking of what to do. A part of him was telling him to go to Vanessa and beg for forgiveness but he was too embarrassed for that. He knew he had hurt her a lot and he had no idea if she was ever going to forgive him.Brian was lost in his thoughts until a knock on his car window brought him back to reality. He
One week later."Why are you looking at me like that?" Eve Matthews asked her husband, Logan. They were both having breakfast on the balcony. They were almost done with their meal.
Knowing who was at the door, Brian Matthews rose to his feet and went to answer. He came face to face with his best friends, Ethan and Lorenzo. It was evident from their outfit that they came straight from work."You look awful, man!" Lorenzo exclaimed with his strong American accent. His father was American and his mother was from Spain but grew up in the states.
After exiting the living room where his siblings were, Brian Matthews stormed out of the mansion. He heard a familiar voice call his name but he didn't bother to look back. Brian got into his car, then drove out of the mansion. As he drove towards his Cabin house for some alone time, he couldn't stop thinking about his earlier conversation with Vanessa and also the conversations with his siblings. The more he remembered every detail of what they talked about, the more his head began to ache.
Brian plopped down on the couch beside him. Suddenly, he felt hot. He felt as if someone was choking him so he loosened his tie. Not feeling comfortable where he was seated, he rose to his feet and started pacing up and down, running his fingers harshly through his hair. "It has to be a lie. There's no way Vanessa is pregnant. I've always been careful during intercourse. I'm so damn sure the baby isn't mine." He tried to convince himself. Unconsciously, the memory of his last conversation with Laurel came rushing back. 'The baby conversation'
A few days later!Brain Matthews got down from his car and proceeded into the mansion with the determination to put an end to the crazy stuff happening in his life. It's been four days since he has heard from Vanessa and also since his younger, sister, Laurel had anything to do with him. He had hoped that by Tuesday, everything would be fine between himself and Vanessa
After Laurel had instructed a maid to take dinner to her room, She proceeded to Brian's suite. She met him seated, pouring himself a glass of red wine. Laurel took a seat beside him."How is she?" He asked as he turned his attention to her.
