Chapter 23

“This is my final decision Emily, I will not take a no from you.”

Emily passed by the shopping center and bought some groceries, meat and fish. As promised she was going to prepare a very nice dish for her husband. Richard had already given her a card for purchases and she didn’t want to misuse the money, so she only took what was needed of her.

By the time Richard got off work and made his way to the house, there was a sweet aroma coming from the kitchen. Emily was busy frying something that took all her attention. She didn’t even hear when he opened the door.

Richard was standing right at her back and when she turned her head she was met with intense blue eyes that had always made her legs weak. Richard on the other hand was enchanted by her beauty as he studied how she skillfully carried herself in the kitchen.
