Chapter 31

“Come let us go have our breakfast” He held her hands and walked with her to the dining room. Val was around and the breakfast was heavy as always. It’s only that she kept on yawning not from hunger but from the last night activities. Whenever Richard looked at her she started blushing and her cheeks turned as red as a tomato.

“Today happens to be my father’s birthday and we will head out in a while to attend with other family members. So hurry up and go put on something nice.”

Emily felt her appetite disappear. It was not that she didn’t appreciate his family members but the thought of meeting Mark Weller again didn’t give her a good feeling. Her dislike for the guy was something that she was not comfortable about.

“Emily, don’t worry about Mark. He is like a dog that only knows how to bark but if he tries anything against you, I will deal with him in the way he would not like.”

“It hasn’t come to that Sweetheart. I can handle him okay”
