Winston Ackley's High school.

Wasn't as bad as people label it. You just had to study, get good grades, and try all your possible best to stay out of trouble.

Though, there are times trouble comes your way even when you're avoiding it.

Especially when you're a mute girl who still managed to be at top of the class. This stirred up envy and hatred from girls to be precise.

I was walking towards my locker, and failed to take notice of an extended leg that someone had put out.

And this made my foot collide into the stretched out leg, and the impact sent me flying to the hallway floor, with my homework and text books scattered all over the floor.

Pain shot through my whole body, but I knew I had to endure it. To be strong because I was never one to appear weak.

Never one to make people get the satisfaction of me being hurt, I gathered my homework sheets and textbooks on the floor, and was about rising to my feet when a brown worn out, creepy looking shoe was placed on top of my hand. And it sent my homework that I was certain I would get an A+, crumpled to the floor.

The foot then added forced to my hand, that I could feel my face squeezing in pain, as I outcried.

Not that a sound from me could be heard, but the pain was worth groaning.

There was snickering and chuckling from the kids who had witnessed this.

I knew who was behind this, but denied my eyes of looking at them, because it would only fuel them to bully me more.

When the person took their foot off my hand and I thought they had left, I picked up AP US Chemistry assignment, and saw that it was only wrinkled, and everything was still in tact.

Once again, I picked my books from the floor and stood up to my full height this time. So I could put the books in my locker.

Then I proceeded to slip out my AP History notebook which was already in my locker, when the same person I thought had left, slammed the door to my face in an aggressive manner.

The impact created a sharp pain on my nose, and it travelled it's way to my head.

Letting go of my book inside the locker, I placed my hand on my nose and my fingers felt a sudden wetness there. I stared at my fingers and saw them coated in blood.

Grinding my jaw, I snapped my head to look at the traitor because I was certain it was a girl. Guys never bullied me, except the ones who were possessed by several demons and came in the middle of the night to launch an attack at me. Of course I always dealt with them one way or the other.

And the person who was doing the horrible things to me, was no other person than Gabriella Rose.

Such a beautiful name for a virile monster.

She had a mischievous smirk on her face as she smacked gum loudly in her mouth, with her hands on the straps of her backpack.

The giant of a girl, derived a great deal of pleasure in bullying me, both physically and emotionally. She wasn't possessed, no. But was depressed, because she came from a broken home and thought that the only way she could make herself feel better, was to bully me, and the less weaker vessel kids.

She was six point two feet tall, played football, something which gave her masculine tights. I was even certain she lifted weights with the guys, because she was muscular and had a sharp chiseled face, faded green eyes, hard nose, and thin lips.

She always packed her brown hair in a pony tail, even though it was short. And dressed like a tomboy.

The fact that I was a mute, and communicated through sign language and paper sheets, made her bully me even more. And now, she was doing it again.

What is wrong with you? I wanted to sign my question, but I stopped halfway and dropped my hand at my side. Because a big boisterous laughter escaped her lips. Something which echoed through the walls, despite the kids were out on the hallway, talking and getting their books for the next class.

Gabriella's laughter pulled their attention towards us, and I knew the next words that were going to erupt out of her mouth.

"Well, hello there. Mute-ty Mer, you know I can't understand or do that silly thing with the hand." She intoned, referring to sign language, giving me a fake friendly non-threatening smile as if she didn't just bully me.

Mute-ty Mer was her nickname for me. And the name had stuck since she was transferred to Winston Ackley's High school, during her sophomore year. She was a senior.

I watched her face turned into anger, as she took a menacing step towards me. Excepting me to shudder and recoil steps backwards. But I didn't. I stood on my ground, and maintained eye contact with her. So she would know that I wasn't scared of her and her bullyings, even at the slightest. I always let her go, because I pitied her condition. Her dad could barely afford her school fees. And clothes were from thrift stores. I couldn't even remember the last time she wore something new to school.

And Gabriella Rose growled like an enraged Giant.

"You horrible liar. You think I'm one of those people you fool into believing that you're a mute. Bitch, I know you can talk." She bellowed, causing her sticky spittle to fly out of her mouth, and land right on my face.

Scrunching my face in disgust, that I felt the pain on my nose rendering an extending hand to intensiveness, I wiped her milky spit away, took a hard dry gulp and avoided the eyes of the students that rested on me, waiting to see my next reaction.

Gabriella Rose was one of the despicable persons who had tried to get me to talk. The fact that I couldn't produce any sound even when I was laughing, totally baffled her. And even when the others gave up on trying to get me talk, she didn't. And hers resulted to constant bullying because she saw me as a weak little eleventh grader.

Allowing a slice of silence to linger in the atmosphere, I curled my fingers into a fist and clenched them. Not that I could make a sound anyway.

Everyone watched as I took out my AP History notebook out of my locker, tore out a sheet and began writing on it. With blood from my nose dripping and discolouring the white sheet.

When I was done, I raised the sheet paper up to her face, glaring so hard at her that I began taking in calm breaths to slow down my anger. Because I knew that if I didn't contain it, something terrible was going to happen to her.

"Leave me alone, it's not your business if I'm a mute or not." Gabriella read out loud, chuckled to herself, and was about stretching her hand to land me a slap in the face, when I gave access to my powers to take full charge, because I had had her bullying up to my neck.

She halted through half a slap, walked towards my locker like a robot, and started jamming her face to the door of my locker.

The kids were flabbergasted at the sight of this, because one moment she was at the point of slapping me. And the next moment, she was hitting her head on my locker.

I knew it wouldn't stop, until my anger died down. And currently, Gabriella Rose was bleeding horribly. Her blood was even dripping from my locker and traveling their ways down to coat the white tiled hallway floor.

I started feeling bad, because it was becoming too much. I tried as much as I could, to calm down, to stop it.

The kids were even filming and taking shots of Gabriella Rose, acting like a zombie. And it generated knots that started tightening themselves, at the pit of my stomach.

One of the disadvantages of having my kind of powers, was that I shouldn't be angered. Or terrible things could happen.

I clamped my eyes shut, because I wanted it to stop.

Finally, I heard the sound of body slumping on the floor heavily. The earth around me rebounded and rang with many echoes when the body collided into it, because the owner of the body, was like a giant.

And when I flicked my eyes open, A swollen, covered bloodied face Gabriella Rose was on the floor, and had lost conciousness.

"I've always known her to be a psycho."

"Good thing she hurt her own self, instead of the poor girl."

"She deserves it, and more."

"Guys, something doesn't seem right."

There was murmuring from the students along the hallway, as they began walking towards her. To get a perfect view of Gabriella Rose, and take shots. They circled her, not even feeling any ounce of remorse for her.

And I blew out a big puff of breath. Feeling all shades of terrible as I casted my eyes down to the unconscious huge body of Gabriella Rose that was on the floor like a dispatched doll, that got torn into pieces, and was sown back together.

The only thing that caused relief to flood through me, was that she was breathing.
