2nd Chance Ch 2

We both laughed. Pat knows my whole story. She’s kind of like a mom to me. I have her and one bff, sad I know. After lunch the boss comes to our office.

“Ladies, I’d like you to meet Grant. He needs a desk to set up. He’ll be here for the next 2 days. He’s going to work on our ordering process. Try to get us set up so we order the right amounts of products since we’ve been running out of some and over-stocked on others.” Edward explained.

“Yes sir.” McKenize responded.

“I know there’s an empty desk here in your office. And he’ll need to meet with the supervisor to show him the new ordering process. So help him with whatever he needs.” Edward said.

“Yes sir.” McKenzie said.

“There are plug-ins behind the desk. If you need more than 2 let me know.” She proceeded.

“That will be enough.” He smiled.

Pat watched and smiled. I have never cheated on my husband, but Grant is damn tempting. Of course there’s a ten year age gap too. I need to focus.
