Chapter 138

Collin's POV

I excused myself immediately our friends left. I practically ran beyond my usual capacity to get to the woods near the school before it becomes very late. I could vividly remember the herbs, because Charlie was always generous enough to take me along with him on such tours. It was more like a bonding moment between us.

Tuning my wolf eyes, I sniffed the woods carefully. I tried to act as normal as possible knowing any human can be found lingering around. Luckily, I found the exact herbs I was looking for. After plucking them, I felt some strange movement. Looking back I didn't see anything or anyone. Hastening my pace, I ran to get out of the woods on time before I get forced to unleash the beastly side of me.

I almost yelled out in horror when I saw a girl with her hair looking like spikes covering her face with a torn jean and bleeding feet stand in front of me. I was beginning to think the zombies were out until she raised her head.

"Tephanie?" I called out in shock
