My hands beheld the fluffy wedding dress I married Javier with. I stared at the bodice, with the thoughts on how I became bounded to him.

It had been a strange wedding in the first place.

“Miss Maya Sanchez,”

The biblical Priest had called out, with some sacred book in his hands.

“Do you accept Prince Javier Vasco Zapatero, as your lawfully wedded husband?”

“In sickness and wealth, for better or for worse, in richer and poorer…” The Priest has said.

I had affirmed those words after a certain emotion lurked in my heart. My head, hazy… yet, it raced. I felt overwhelmed by what had been happening. And this was the same emotion that sneaked in my heart right now.
