Carter, David and the others gathered near the fighting grounds which is situated in the middle of the pack. The fighting grounds are nothing but a big clearing in the middle of the otherwise lush green area which it is surrounded with.

Every wolf pack is situated in the middle of the greenery so that they could let their beasts loose and run into the wilderness. The Blue moon pack is no different either. The pack is surrounded by thick trees and far away from the human settlements.

The packhouse is situated half a mile away from the fighting grounds. The fighting grounds are where the usual training of the warriors and the punishments for the offended would be taking place.

All the other homes of the pack mates are sparsely scattered within the pack territory. Werewolves prefer to live within a pack, but they do seek privacy. No two homes are closely situated to each other. It would take at least a few minutes to reach the nearby home of the other pack mates.
